Byron Bay forty years ago

For an Australian, Asobi Lodge and the Tango Peninsula generally are like Byron Bay forty years ago: beautiful uncrowded beaches, clear water, spectacular headlands and walking trails, and a tranquil forest hinterland. Renting a car and driving around is super easy too. I cannot for the life of me understand why, when so many places in Japan are over touristed, just a few more people don’t explore places like this.

What an amazing experience at Asobi lodge views of the ocean lots of walks in and around the coastline a relaxing time beds were so comfortable and the decor of rooms were perfect I highly recommend staying there and am looking forward to going back the hosts there are lovely people

Get yourselves over to Asobu Lodge

What a great visit we had to Asobi Lodge. Hamish, Nora and the girls are fantastic hosts, and the trio of friendly goats were something else. Just the right amount of help from Hamish without being intrusive and superb access to nature and beaches. I would recommend a visit to this extremely comfortable, charming and well-equipped lodgings 100%. Wonderful!!
