Unforgettable vacation
Madagascar is a magical place and at Sambatra this magic is amplified!
Tranquility, sea, sun, and pleasant scents provide a natural backdrop to a welcome like never before. Zero worries about my food intolerances, breakfast, lunches, and dinners of a 5-star hotel with family-like attention. For me, Sambatra is HOME, a safe harbor for staying in Nosy Be.
The icing on the cake: falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the sea.
I can't wait to go back

A true Malagasy experience from 10 and praise
Sambatra is the perfect accommodation for anyone who wants a typically Malagasy and quiet place to eat divinely.
Recently renovated, it offers spacious and functional rooms, and a restaurant with beautiful views of palm trees and the beach.
The menu is varied, at really affordable prices, and every dish we tried left us speechless.
Unlike the big resorts, there are no noisy entertainment activities here, at Sambatra peace always reigns.
Last but not least, the owners Elisabetta and Jann made us feel at home from day one, and selected a helpful and shrewd staff. One detail we loved is their three sweet little dogs.
The only small flaw of our stay was the warm water of the shower, but basically it fits into the authentic charm of a real Malagasy experience.

Experience that will remain in our hearts!
Wonderful experience! The Sambatra (which not surprisingly means "happiness") welcomed and pampered us in every way! Simple and familiar context, very close to the sea.
The two owners, Betta and Jan, are two sunny people who really make you feel at home with friends: they always have some interesting stories about their adventurous experiences and their current lifestyle choice. Any request we made to them, they granted it with kindness and promptness.
The room we had, Baobab, is directly facing the sea and wake up and fall asleep with the lapping of the waves, it is priceless!
Breakfast sitting on a large wooden table facing the sea, is a great start to the day, also rich in fresh fruit and espresso coffee included (not obvious having it being abroad).
Sambatra's restaurant is exquisite, with quality products, with local dishes but also local.
The two newly arrived puppies, Ulysses and Joby, made it even more enjoyable and fun. Penelope, on the other hand, is the veteran, as well as the quiet queen of the place.
The Sambatra is at a beach crossing point for some of the tourist and local activities (but always maintaining the tranquility and privacy of the place) and it is easy to observe the life of fishermen, or those who carry fruit on a cart carried by a zebu ', or play with local children who enjoy jumping on the beaches with gymnastic evolutions.
The area, Ambaro, is not the most touristic, and this allows those who stay there to have moments of tranquility and enjoy the peace of the place.
The crazy sunsets will be one of the things I will miss the most...

p.s. Before leaving Jan gave us a helmet of excellent bananas of his production that we took home, thus making less "traumatic" the detachment from the smells and flavors of the magical place where we stayed. Thank you again!

Paradise
I had an absolutely delightful stay at this charming beachside bed and breakfast! The location was perfect—just steps from the sand, offering breathtaking ocean views and sunsets. The room was cozy, and clean. The breakfast each morning was a treat, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients that made for a delicious start to the day. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring I was well taken care of. It was a peaceful, rejuvenating escape, and I can't wait to return! Grazie!
