Wonderful experience!!!
We were a group of 16 and we almost filled it, so it was like we were at home! We will definitely return!!!

Luxury at 9,000 feet
Be aware that sometimes the CC machine does not work specially so my advise is that you bring your own Mexican currency, you are better off paying in cash than using your CC. The hotel has a magical deck which you can see almost half of down from there and it is very large and so convenient. Keep in mind that due to the high altitude you might experience some dizziness or out of breath feeling.
IMPORTANT: This hotel IS NOT handicap friendly or anyone with a physical disability since it does not have an elevator, you have use stairs to go to your suites. In fact most of the town is not handicap friendly due to the conditions, rocky roads and uneven pavement, in some areas the rock roads are slick and you might trip and fall so very extra careful when walking around.
For meal, there are plenty of places to choose from, but in our case, we used to dine in at the Meson de la Abundancia which is behind the Minal Real.
One last thing, this hotel does not have A/C nor heating system, A/C is not really needed since the town is so elevated, the temperature is always cool, but it can get very cool at night depends the time in the year you go, we went in March and the low at night was in the low 40's and during the day stays on the mid 50's, so bring some good thick pajamas, socks and hats to sleep comfy (only bad thing about hotel)
