We found the the property to be everything we hoped it would be. Great location, friendly, helpful staff at check-in, restaurant , bar and housekeeping.

This is my favorite place to stop when traveling Baja. It is beautiful, peaceful, the scenery is spectacular. The food and service are exemplary. And it’s super dog friendly.

The Perfect Place for Us

Last year, we planned to stay at the Oasis for two weeks but ended up not being able to stay. Our fare was non refundable, but they were kind enough to give us a credit. We just got back and plan to go yearly for many reasons. The place is clean, the restaurant is good, staff is friendly and efficient, and the whole place has a low key welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is located at one end of the Malecon (oceanfront walkway) but you would think you were far from town. It is quiet and all rooms open up to the beach. Scattered around the huge beach area are comfy chairs, semi hidden benches , and hammocks. My favorite thing about the place is the dogs. The owners rescue dogs and have a few they have adopted. These dogs wander around and are fun to pet and watch swimming and playing on the beach. I fell in love with a friendly Corgi mix that slept on my feet as I read and welcomed every person he saw. The town center is literally out the back door and a short walk away is the plaza area with a beautiful church, great restaurants and shopping. There are a few other waterfront hotels along the Malecon, but none have the ‘relax at the beach’ setting and vibe of the Oasis. All require you to cross the street and you do not have the instant access to your room, the restaurant or the bar that the Oasis has.

Nice view of the beach. Patio with 2 chairs. Hammock in the room.
Room next to the main road and the bar. Very LOUD!!
Could not hardly hear the TV it was so loud until late into the night.
Stray dogs around barking and scratching at our door. Stray dogs at the restaurant begging.
No place to sit in the room except the bed. Had to bring a chair in from the patio.
Simple door to the room no deadbolt. Patio door with simple lock- room felt a little unsafe give how much activity was going on around us.
Probably will not stay there again:(
