Great place for solo wingfoiling
Just back from a great week at Dakhla Attitude. I’m a beginner wingfoiler and had a brilliant time improving with the help of the friendly staff at the Duotone Watersports centre on site. Othman and the team were super helpful and supportive, and always kept an eye out for me on the water in case I needed the safety boat (which I didn’t, thankfully!).
It’s a very friendly vibe at the hotel and I met lots of great people at the communal tables at mealtimes. Good location right on the lagoon.

Nice kitesurf spot, accomodation dissapointing
I stayed at Attitude twice over the past two months, for more than 10 days in total.
Let me start with the positives. The kite spot is excellent, the vibe at the beach bar is relaxed, and from a sports perspective there is very little to complain about.
The staff is always friendly. Morocco is a warm and welcoming country, and the people working at Attitude reflect that.
But unfortunately, the organisation, accommodation, food and overall value for money are, in my opinion, well below what you should expect at this price point. And depending on your package and extras, the price can become quite high.
I know that negative reviews can have a real impact, so I want to be fair: everything below is simply meant to inform other travellers about my own experience after spending more than 8 days here. It is only one person’s opinion. I have been travelling for 30 years and I certainly do not expect Four Seasons service everywhere. But there are some basic standards that should be met imho.
Reception and organisation, this was by far one of the most frustrating aspects of both stays. The reception staff are friendly, but the organisation simply does not work.
The software seems unreliable, everything takes an enormous amount of time, and bills are not properly or transparently managed. At checkout, you get the unpleasant feeling that you need to double-check everything yourself. The final invoice does not clearly list all individual expenses, so essentially you are expected to trust that everything is correct.
The worst experience happened just before my departure at 6 a.m. I was suddenly presented with a “forgotten” bill that was clearly incorrect. There was no realistic possibility to discuss it because everyone was already waiting in the transfer bus. I was told I had to accept a credit-card pre-authorisation or I could not leave. In 30 years of travelling, I have never experienced anything quite like this.
In the end, the amount was not actually charged to my card, but that does not make the way it was handled acceptable.
Accommodation: my impression is very clear: too little is being invested in maintenance. There were stains on the floor, paint peeling off in places, and my room generally felt tired and worn. It also did not always smell fresh. At this price level, the accommodation should simply be better maintained.
Food. For me personally, this was the biggest disappointment. There is far too little variety, the presentation does not always give a particularly clean or appetising impression, and breakfast offers hardly any fruit. The food is basic and becomes extremely repetitive after a few days. If you stay for a week or longer, this becomes very noticeable.
Conclusion: the kite spot itself is excellent, but for me the hotel lacks soul and feels primarily designed to accommodate very large groups. There is nothing wrong with that, but travellers looking for atmosphere, good value for money and a professionally run hotel may want to look elsewhere.
After seven visits to Dakhla, I know the destination quite well. I have previously stayed at places including Heliophora, the old Ocean Vagabond and the Vagabond in Lassarga, and I like trying new accommodation rather than always returning to the same place.
That is why I booked two separate stays at Attitude in one go, with a few weeks between them. For me, unfortunately, that turned out to be the same mistake twice.

Merci d'avoir pris le temps de partager un retour aussi détaillé après vos deux séjours. Nous sommes ravis que le spot de kite et l'ambiance vous aient plu, mais sincèrement désolés que l'organisation, l'hébergement et la restauration n'aient pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes.
Vos remarques sur l'entretien des chambres et la gestion de la facturation ont été transmises à nos équipes concernées afin d'apporter les corrections nécessaires .comme vous pouvez voir en dessous les avis diffère d un client a un autre et nous avons énormément de retour positif,mais toutefois nous prenons en compte tout c est petits details qui j espere pourrons changé votre vision

Dakhla attitude
Very good stay for the 3rd time. Spot with good conditions; wind, safety, lagoon… I recommend Momo for learning kite or wing, who is very professional in his lessons. He taught me kite and wing. In short, I totally recommend it.

SPA recommendations
I recommend the Spa, Bouchra’s team is very professional, attentive, and reasonably priced; I recommend the royal hammam, a pure moment of relaxation, and the after-kite massage for good recovery after a kite session information about the Spa would be desirable in the rooms and at the bar
