Great stay

Very pleasant stay in this Riad Nicolas and his team caring for us... super different breakfast served every day on the terrace... ideal location in the heart of the medina but in a quiet alley away from the noise of the street... I highly recommend this establishment

Relax and recuperate in a calm atmosphere after a hectic day in Marrakech

Beautifully quiet and relaxed place to get away from the bustle and chaos of Marrakech. Gentle, classical music creates a calm atmosphere. The hotel is very clean. The very young staff are keen to help. The rooftop hot tub was the highlight of my stay. The swimming pool is very small and only suitable for clients from Northern countries. Decor is more African than middle-eastern.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Lack of hygiene in breakfast area.

1/5 stars because the room was nice, however, the front counter staff and owner are rude. We set up the DO NOT DISTURB sign during our 3 days stay and they ignored the sign and they came inside the room, supposedly, to empty the trash cans because of hygiene. All over the world do not disturb kindly means: Do not enter.
The worst part of our stay was the breakfast: They keep the tables set up and lay the plates, cutlery, cups, etc. and meanwhile the cats lick all everything on the tables. Even worst, the cats look sick and they are not afraid of humans. While I was taking breakfasts the cat started licking the food, coffee, etc. When I reported it to the office, the owner told me that there is nothing they can do because Marrakech is full of cats and they jump between buildings. Being aware of this fact, they could install vinyl panels around the breakfast area keeping the cats away and creating a safe environment for the guests, since they are so concern about hygiene (to enter rooms with do not disturb signs).
Definitively, I will never go back to this Riad nor recommend it to anyone.

Marrakech to the Medina the Riad Anysates to discover and rest

Elegant accommodation
Fine decoration
Comfortable comfortable spacious room
At the top , an open sky conducive to resting in the reading and sun
Warm Welcoming , Caring Director , caring multipurpose staff and always smiling
Located in the Medina we quickly get to its meanders...
Marrakech does the rest of the poetry of the stay
But Anysates contributes generously

Lovely Riad but totally lacking in soul, would not return . Study carefully before you book

The Riad is a gorgeous building and lives up to its description. The bedrooms are as described and lovely linens and fresh towels daily. Although rooms are described as having a terrace when there isn’t one!
Location wise you can’t go wrong here ,
But here’s the but: it has no soul whatsoever! it’s like we are the invisible guests. Never an offer to ask if you want anything, never a suggestion to upsell. That’s not discreet service it’s invisible and being run on a shoestring. The lack of alcohol licence, whilst irritating, at least we did know about it ( despite the continued false promotion on their website) yet it seems to have emptied the bars totally! We would love to have been offered fruit mocktails, or even more tea, but that seems to be like getting blood out of a stone!! A missed business opportunity by the proprietor here.
Some of the ratings it is currently receding on the booking site I would say are somewhat dubious - scoring a perfect 10 and yet no comment!!
In this regard it’s operating like a simple Airbnb + breakfast and with non of the services you’d expect at this level and price. Breakfast was the same everyday with no variation and, despite letting them know in advance I was gluten free, no attempt offended for anything else to be substituted for the huge basket of bread and cakes which still arrived every day..
Then girls who work at breakfast and clean rooms are sweet and friendly but not proactive, nor is their English good enough for front of house . Room coffee pods and cups not refreshed etc, no asking if you need anything etc. a request for a second glass of orange juice at breakfast refused!!
‘Service’ is all behind a WhatsApp messaging service which is running half heartedly. I’d choose somewhere different another time which is a shame as we had high hopes . Marrakech has some wonderful Roads but sadly this isn’t one of them
