Exceptional stay at Riad Mylaya - great location, beautiful and clean rooms, delicious breakfasts
Our stay at Riad Mylaya in Marrakech was truly exceptional—well beyond our expectations.
The location is very convenient, even though it sits on the north-west edge of the Medina. It offers the perfect balance: easy access to the old city and its vibrant souks, while also being very close to the newer part of Marrakech, including the Majorelle Gardens and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum. On departure, it was especially convenient to leave the Medina quickly and reach our airport transfer without hassle.
The riad itself is absolutely beautiful inside—tastefully decorated, clean, and very well maintained. The rooms were cleaned regularly, with towels changed almost daily, which we really appreciated.
Breakfast was generous and varied every day, featuring fresh fruit, coffee, fresh juices, omelettes, pancakes, croissants, and a variety of local specialties. Everything was delicious and carefully prepared.
The service was impeccable. Special thanks to Ali, the riad manager, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. He provided us with valuable information about Marrakech, recommended great restaurants, arranged our airport transfers (for a fee), suggested a guide, and even helped us with small purchases.
We also want to thank Outmane, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help. He made sure we felt comfortable at all times.
It’s rare to experience such high-quality service and genuine hospitality. We highly recommend Riad Mylaya and would gladly return.

Riad highly recommended 100%, for the comfort of the rooms and common areas, for the impeccable cleanliness, the great kindness and friendliness of all the staff, especially Hasan and Ai who are attentive to you every minute, for the wonderful breakfast... not a single negative point... a 10/10.

Unsurpassed experience in Mylaya, the friendliness and availability of Hassan and Outmane make you feel totally at home. They will help you in any way you need and give you good and honest recommendations.
The Riad is small, with few rooms, a good terrace and always clean.
Otherwise, Marrakech is spectacular, the people tremendously friendly and the whole trip has been perfect.

A loving welcome to a spectacular place. Hussane and Ottman may end up being the highlight of the trip!
As a female solo traveller it can be a little nerve wracking arriving in an unfamiliar city. Hussane met me at the outskirts of the Medina and from that moment on my concerns were assuaged. Never before have I felt so welcomed and cared for. Beautiful mint tea and sweets upon arrival while Hussane sat with me, opened up a map and highlighted how to get the most out of my time in this incredible city. He taught me some helpful phrases, gave tips on how to feel safe and comfortable, and provided detailed directions to navigate the intricate layout of the Medina.
As I headed out on my adventure though the souks Hussane’s advice was paramount- there was never a moment of doubt; I knew the landmarks, the turn at every crossroads, and a wonderful recommendation for a relaxing dinner on a terrace overlooking the Medina.
Ottman was there to greet me as I returned to the Riad under the cover of darkness. So kind, polite, and welcoming, he wished me goodnight as I headed in for a restful nights sleep.
I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed and ready for a day of exploring the city.
As I emerged from my room Ottman guided me onto the terrace to be presented with the most generous breakfast.
This time around Marrakech was sadly a stopover on my way up the coast, but… I will return and I will be crossing my fingers that Riad Mylaya has a room to spare.

Exceptional stay
Hassan and Othman have a real sense of hospitality and work with love and passion. Their availability and exceptional kindness made our stay even more enjoyable: they prepared a plan with very good addresses and were always ready to help us, including for our luggage.
Breakfast is excellent, hearty and varied every day, accompanied by delicious fresh orange juice. The terrace where we took it is of remarkable calm and comfort, ideal to recharge fully.
The room was very clean.
We had a great time. A big thank you for preparing our breakfast the day of departure, very kind attention. We leave Morocco with beautiful memories.
We will be back with great pleasure. I recommend this riad 100%: it feels like home.
