Central Riad with lots of hospitality
Nice, quiet riad in the heart of the medina. The central location, the excellent breakfast, the nice rooms and the friendly and helpful staff made our 1. Stay in the middle of the medina made perfect.

A paradise in the heart of the medina
Riad rahal is a real little paradise in the heart of the medina!
We stayed 5 nights at the riad and what an experience!
We were lucky enough to have their new room ''nejma''
Authenticity, refined decoration and what a big bed!
The riad is very clean and very well maintained.
Beyond the beauty of the riad.
For me the real asset of this riad is the staff ❤️.
Breakfast is in real time of conviviality, hospitality and kindness.
The entire breakfast and homemade with local products.
We are fortunate to be able to share with each of the people of the riad.
Simo the very friendly boss!
Youssef the incarnate kindness!
Adam the man who accompanies you throughout your stay with his availability and responsiveness at all hours!
Not to mention the 2 ladies in the kitchen who regaled us!
I left the riad rahal with a heavy heart so great was the experience of hospitality and benevolence!

The dream
We stayed 3 nights at Riad Rahal and it was a dream stay ...
We were 7 friends and privatized the Riad.
Many thanks to Adam for his good advice and also to the kitchen team for their excellent breakfast as well as the succulent couscous served upon our arrival.
Congratulations to Simo and Carina for making this beautiful Riad with great taste.

Wonderful Riad in Marrakesh
Our stay at Riad Rahal in Marrakech was just wonderful all around. This small, lovingly run riad with just five rooms is a real retreat in the middle of the city's hustle and bustle. The location is perfect – close to the city yet quiet, so you can immediately come to rest after an eventful day.
But what makes this place really special are the people: The whole team is incredibly warm, attentive and authentic. You feel welcome from the first moment – almost like you’re with friends.
The Riad itself exudes so much warmth and charm, every detail is designed with love. It is a place to arrive, breathe and enjoy.
We would come back anytime and can recommend the Riad Rahal from the heart. A little gem in Marrakech! ✨

A nice riad not too far into the Medina
We enjoyed our stay here. Adam was a great host and went out of his way to be helpful.
The location of the riad is good. As with all riads in the medina, you have to walk in. Adam met us when the taxi dropped us off at the entrance to the medina and helped us with our case to the riad and then did the same when we left (but somehow we had acquired another case!). The nice thing with this riad is that it's not too far into the medina so you don't have to drag your cases through the narrow, crowded lanes of the medina.
The riad has a comfortable feel to it. It doesn't have the water features that a number of riads boast but that was fine.
Breakfast is served on the roof and the roof here has a lovely, lazy, almost Mediterranean feel to it. The breakfast served is substantial and the staff are great.
The size of the rooms are adequate although we were staying for four nights and there wasn't near enough room to hang things and no drawers so we were having to keep things in the suitcases. The shower/bathroom could have been better but bearing in mind that this is an old building, they've done a reasonable job with the limitations they had to deal with. I had a few observations for minor improvements which Adam gracefully received.
Every time we'd come back the windows to our room would be open after the staff had cleaned the room. There is a safe in the room but it still didn't quite feel right. As the windows are flimsy, you could hear noise from other people entering or leaving the property and talking. That said, I think we were lucky that the other guests appeared to be extremely considerate and recognised the potential issue and kept the noise well down.
Compared to other riads in the medina, this was reasonably priced for the four nights we stayed.
This would definitely be on my list if I was to return to Marrakech for another visit.
