A real gem on a deserted beach.

Ksar Massa is in a fantastic location, overlooking a deserted, sandy beach. It is the perfect place to relax and get away from it all.
Our spacious rooms, with crisp, white bedlinen and soft, white, fluffy towels had beautiful views of the pool and the beach.
Loubna, the chef, created some incredible, freshly cooked, vegetarian meals for us in addition to the plentiful fresh breakfasts we feasted on each morning. This kind of culinary excellence is going to be very hard to beat during the rest of our Moroccan adventure.
The staff were friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much bother. Thank you to Hussein, Loubna, Hamane, Mohamed, Yasmine & Delhine for making the start of our trip so memorable.

Beautifully located but soulless hotel

On pictures it looks beautiful but it lacks the cordiality and soul of Morocco. The welcome was the coolest we were allowed to experience during our trip and contributed to a strange atmosphere that made us feel uncomfortable. The room itself was certainly fine whatever you might expect from this high price. The drinks menu was even by Western standards on the high side eg 6.5 euros for a simple beer. The food was similar to elsewhere in Morocco but back a lot more expensive. We did a bird tour with a guide from the hotel and Radouin made us feel at ease there for the first time. In him we recognized the charming nature of the Moroccans. He took his time and showed us many beautiful places of his region. We had to pay a deposit when booking and at check-out this was not settled. Only after we were able to prove our payment and after they checked with their own bank was this adjusted. In short, our most expensive hotel in Morocco turned out to be the biggest disappointment. Really not recommended.

Dejado, viejo, poco cuidado y MUY CARO!

Reasons why this hotel is not a luxury one and should not have this prices. Should be half this price.
⁃ Room:
No wifi
Small ridiculous soap in the toilet.
Bad smell coming from the toilet.
Air conditioning machine goes on and off
Old cupboards with no space for clothes
No reading light only general light
⁃ Swimming pool
The pool is beautifull but around the pool the chairs are old and dirty, looks like never cleaned.
⁃ Restaurant:
The place is old, dirty, dirty table covers, sofas very dirty, all very old. Never renewed or taken care.
⁃ Food: is nice, well done. Except for the bread that was hard for breakfast. But it is too expensive for what it is! If you ask for coffee they bring horrible pot coffee with pieces, and if you want expreso you pay for it. Plus you don't get eggs if you want fruit. Never seen before. The wine list very expensive and you can't have a glass! You have to take a bottle.
⁃ Spa: hammam is broken! And to get into a jacuzzi you have to pay 50 euros! The other pool is very cold.
⁃ The building is old, dirty and needs painting and repairing. Also cleaning. The fountain in the reception looks so dirty it makes the whole place look dirty.
The expresión that resumes this hotel is DEJADO in Spanish, which means forgotten and not taken care of.
I strongly recomend they low their prices so people feel they are paying more what they get.

Comfortable, spectacular and the beach is empty

Idyllic place, in a spectacular location, very well cared for, with absolute discretion. The rooms themed in Morocco, which is where we are, very nice, spacious and clean. They have an aman and a very local gastronomic offer, very well prepared.
