Not our best experience, minimum of services

The place is well located, unfortunately a lot of things have to be improved. Even if the bedroom are well equiped, the building is simple and not charming. They were several guests during our stay and the quantity of food furing the diner and for the breakfast is clearly unsufficient. The "breakfast" is the minimum and we have to ask to have enough coffee ( again) for everybody. This diner is served outside and we are sit on small camping chairs not confortable. Not enough outside chairs for all out of the building when you want to relax.... For all that only 3 stars. For the level of service the price is very expensive in comparison with others guestfarm tested.

Theo really knows what he is doing.He and he wife run a beautiful guesthouse and offer tours.

The guesthouse looks well maintained and professionally run. But more important, the host Theo is absolutely an example of hospitality. He showed us the secrets of the wild camping in the Hoanib river. And he was helpful with providing fuel and cash money. And we were not even guests. Absolutely great experience. If you go, you should experience the wild camp with Theo. Lots of animals to be seen and camp in a great place.

An unexpected pleasure

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon to be met by a happy person who called himself Rooney! Our room was large and airy and, after an excellent G&T, we drove down to look at the Fort, disappointing and no tea, only coffee! The waiter who served us was disrespectful saying "the English don't like the Germans"! That waiter needs sacking!
Back at the Guest House we were given a very good dinner and slept like babes.
After breakfast we packed up to head for Puros and Rooney gave us a guides phone number in case we got stuck. We were so impressed by Rooney's helpfulness that we booked in for another night on our return from Puros
Sesfontein Guest House is a winner!
