Warm welcome, comfortable, clean, great location - but close to a church which bells ring all day and night
Beautiful room.
Huge comfortable bed.
Lovely pillows, duvet, good heating system, big tv and free tea / coffee.
Good size shower room.
The only problem was the Utrecht church. Its bells literally ring every 15 minutes. All day. All night. It’s quite loud!
But for one night it was perfect location, clean and very comfortable

Room in the picture is not what you get. Hotel does not think along with a solution.
Upon arrival we saw the indeed the room we had booked from the photos only without a terrace (for which we had paid extra and which was only in our room in the picture).
After a lot of contact with the hotel and booking.com we were told that it would apparently be EITHER a patio OR a terrace. If you ask me, that's a big difference. And if we had known this in advance we would have booked another room or a completely different hotel.
We also paid extra for rose petals and balloons on the bed. 38,45€ they then ask as an additional cost. Pretty much, but we thought, how nice to surprise the other.
Arriving there were a few leaves and a total of 2 balloons. So I would definitely advise against buying this.
We gave the hotel the opportunity to have it resolved that same evening but unfortunately nothing was done with it and we spent a lot of our time there calling for a solution.
All in all, we think it's quite a waste of our experience, but I would advise against going here if you don't want to be fooled (like us).

Not ok at the Cosy pillow!
In hhe rooms it was very cold , the air conditioning was not working as it has and the temperature was about 17 degrees.
The stairs weren't ok for carring the luggages.
the Breakfast - not in the location, a lot af food but nothing to eat! because they don't respect what you really need to eat, they give what they want.

Terrible night in hotel room due to noise and no help available; complaint settled with only 15% discount for next
We had booked an overnight stay in the Werfkelder (the most expensive room). What should have been a nice stay, became an extremely annoying night for us which we interrupted at 02:30 and then we returned home.
First of all, this room is located on the canal, where everyone can just walk by. So we had drunk guys at the beginning of the night urinating in front of our room. Followed by hours of screaming from 20 geese. The problem is that there is no reception in the night and you have to contact by phone. However, the accessibility is zero.
We contacted Cozy Pillow both the next day by phone, and a few days after the short stay, with a complaint and to come to an accommodation. Again it appears that Cozy Pillow is not very receptive, very happy to pull her hands off everything and eventually give a 15% discount on the overnight stay for any subsequent stay. My advice: never book a room here!
