It really is twee
There are only six rooms at the hotel, so between us we had fifty percent of the availability. We had driven from England via the Channel Tunnel, through France and Belgium. Our journey took slightly longer than anticipated due to a number of road closures / delays in Belgium. We phoned ahead to let the hotel know we were going to be there a little after 20:00 local time.
On arrival we received a very warm wlcome from the receptionist / server / bar person Nayla who immediately issued the keys to our rooms and offered to assist with our luggage. Albeit the restaurant side closed at 20:00 Nayla said that we could dine there; witihn five minutes of arrival we were sat in the restaurant area and within about 15 mniutes we were tucking into our freshly prepared food and drinking a very welcome beer (in my case alcohol free). The food was excellent;there was a good menu to choose from written in Dutch but with the aid of Nayla and Translate.google we managed.
The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the combined bath and shower also clean. Towels were provided as was shower gel and shampoo, tea / coffee making facilities also provided.
After a good nights sleep it was time for breakfast; the owner / Manager Esther Kuijpers took our breakfast order and then freshly prepared and served it. I had chosen the Omlette which came with bacon witihn it, there was an ample supply of bread / rolls, cheese slices and ham slices and a bottomless coffee pot! A great way to start the day and get set up for the hours ahead of us. We went to pay for the breakfast but were informed that it was included in the price of the room.
We spent all day Friday at the air show at Volkel Vliegbasis before returning to the hotel.
Our receptionist / server this evening was Sita, once again nothing was too much trouble for her helping us with translation of the menu to save using mobile devices. Another freshly cooked meal was enjoyed by all three of us. A couple of cold beers finished off the evening perfectly.
Saturday morning; breakfast for us was at 09:00, once again freshly prepared by Esther. It was another good start to the day, I did think that if I kept on eating this well I'd put on weight and I did!!
The total bill for the two nights accommodation and breakfasts was 130€00 which included all applicable taxes (BTW in The Netherlands). Both evening meals equated to about 30€ / 40€ each which we thought was excellent value.
Personally if and when I am in this part of The Netherlands again I will endeavour to book and stay at this Hotel / Restaurant.

Heerlijk gegeten
Verder was het eten echt heel lekker, het toetje verrukkelijk!

Nieuwe naam zaak Novo
Ook de lunchkaart ziet er goed uit.
Ik zou zeggen ga er heen en proef!!
Er worden veel streekprodrukten gebruikt in de lekkere gerechten.
Leuke gastvrouw en goed personeel.
