Wonderful stay with a lovely host

I am so lucky to know this hostel. From day one Alicia (the owner) showed the place with a lovely hospitality and a service you won’t find everywhere! Me and the one I was sharing the room with had breakfast with local Panamanian atmosphere that just made everything perfect! I recommend this hostel to everyone who drop by for a stay near the town Mariabé.

Cozy Hostal in Pedasi

We had s group of 6 friends stay at the Hostal Mi Castillo. The host Alicia was always very attentive and helpful if we had any questions, as well as recommendations (Unfortunately I got sick but Alicia got me medicine and later helped me to the local Hospital)
Rooms were big, cozy and clean. The bunk beds are comfortable and have usb and electric plugs for each bed.
Food was good and affordable. Hostal is located 10 minutes away from the colorful little town of Pedasi
Highly recommended if you want a calm quiet and clean hostal near Pedasi!

Cozy stay with delicious Panamanian food!

I stayed at Mi Castillo Hostel for New Year’s Eve and had an amazing time! It has a nice terrace with hammocks to relax. The dining room and the kitchen are very spacious. The rooms were clean and comfortable! Excellent for a trip with friends and family! It has a great location, close to Pedasi and Iguana Island.

Humble beginning to the New Year

Stayed here over New Years break with friends. The hostal is quaint, cozy, rustic, and lovely. The owner of the hostal is an extremely friendly local that helped us get a boat ride to Iguana and bus ride to Pedasi and Playa Venao.
Do not expect a luxury hotel, this is a hostal meant for friends willing to embrace and immerse themselves in a quiet little Panamanian rural town.
