Central location
We have stopped there for business, only for one night. Guesthouse is great, central location in Mielno, 1 minute walk from beach. Room was basic but with nice balcony and even side sea view. Price was attractive as well. Breakfast really good.

Good hotel / Terrible Restaurant
We arrived late afternoon and asked the lady receptionist what time they served dinner. 7.00pm until 10pm was her response, so we took our time and then came down at 7.00 pm for a pre dinner drink.
On arriving into the dining room and ordering our drinks, the waiter told us that the dining room was closing, as the cook wanted to go home. They were quiet and reluctantly we gave them our order.
The comedy then began.
Firstly their draft beer pump was out of action. So we ordered bottles instead. Not an issue.
Then one main course pizza arrived, which came before any starter. Next to arrive was a starter, a minute or two later. Bread was only provided after we requested it, to accompany our starters.
Next came the second pizza before finally the first starter. The waiter was apologetic and to me seemed very embarrassed.
Whilst we having our final courses we ordered more beers. As we are on holiday, we thought it of interest to try a different beer and ordered a brown beer instead. When the waiter opened it, he found it full of water not beer. It appeared to be a display bottle only. We therefore asked for any other beer they recommended. Sorry .... They only have the one bottled beer.
As we drank our beer and finished our drinks they started to close the restaurant. Switching the T.V. and some lights off.
Finally just to make sure we got the message, when we asked about a dessert, they told us they didn't have any.
This was the worst dining experience I have had for many years. How do they get away with it, if other people are treated similarly?
Now to the accommodation. It was very good and included a place under cover and secure, to store our bicycles. Whilst the hotel does not have a lift it has well lit stairs. For those arriving by car there is a good size car park.
Our standard room had both a balcony and sea view. It was clean and had both plentyful electric sockets and good Wifi reception.
The only issue we had was noise from an adjoining room, where we felt part of the gentleman's mobile phone calls. However the whole hotel fell silent long before midnight and noise was not an issue.
In summary given it's excellent location and good standard rooms we would like to stay here again. However that will only be the case when they have resolved the issues in their dining room.

Locaton cannot be beaten
We enjoyed our stay here: perfect location a few steps to the beach, and within easy reach of a restaurants etc. Excellent breakfast included and parking a bonus. The room was fine: spacious, fridge provided, balcony overlooking pedestrian street and the sea. A touch old fashioned, could do with some tidying up. It met all our needs and expectations, but we couldn't LOVE it. Strange that the restaurant closed at 2000 and the fact that the shutters came down even before that made it clear that customers were not particularly welcome for relaxed evening meals: hence we never ate there.

za rozsądne pieniądze z ładnym widokiem i blisko plaży
w Mielnie, obok pomnika morsa, wjazd za restauracją na zaplecze Villi Rafa. Spory darmowy parking, gdzie w sezonie to zaleta. pokoje stosowne do ceny ale za to czysto i przede wszystkim z widokiem na morze i w samym centrum Mielna, dla ceniących sobie ciszę i relaks - polecam inne miejsca.

Późny obiad
Co prawda zaszliśmy tam zaraz przed zamknięciem, ale to jeden z lepszych schabowych jakie jedliśmy. Przepyszne chrupiące frytki i surówka dodana do zestawu pomimo że nie zamawialiśmy była miłym zaskoczeniem :)
