Excellent experience!
It was a “Best Money Can Buy” in the area of Brezoi, Vâlcea! Excellent location, very large parking area, quite big and green compound. The room was clean, big enough, with a view on the mountain. Quite good breakfast, excellent coffee. Very nice personnel, very helpful and open to all kind of feedback and suggestions.

Not really bad, not really good.
At check in, everything looked fine. But after 2 days of staying we’ve noticed that there was not house keeping/cleaning at all. So we’ve asked politely the lady at the reception desk, what are the new rules — are we supposed to vaccum clean, refresh the bed clothing, wash the floor, take the garbage out — as we’ve stayed at this hotel 1 year before and the room/bathroom was cleaned daily. Not that we wouldn’t have done it ourselves if we knew and had the tools. Even at almost 200€/night. After the 4 th day we’ve asked again; been told that the towels were changed, what else we’re expecting? Don’t get me wrong we’re not neither the kind of careless absurd claims tourists, nor the kind looking for a knot in the rushes, but still…5 days with no cleaning at all it’s not ok. Yes, there was AC in the room — AC it’s a rare find in the area as there is a hills zone— and a balcony, but we paid for a hotel, not a self service host and changing the towells is far from cleaning a hotel room. Plus the attitude of the reception lady was anything but considerate. I just wanted everybody to know what to expect. And still wonder why other people rated this hotel so high. I guess it’s because of the swimming pool and/or the AC? Or the proximity to the river and/or the venue where all music festival take place?

Could have been better
Very good hotel, free parking, WiFi, excellent breakfast, swimming pool, children’s playgrounds, tennis and football courts and a fairly good restaurant near by for lunch or dinner
Except for 2 things:
— the ever pretty loud playing “music” at the swimming pool. While I can understand the need of some, for entertainment everywhere they go, — and the wish of management to fulfill customers wishes, honestly what they play here it’s not music, but noise. What I can not understand it’s why if more than few paying customers( all over their young age) asked the bartender nicely to turn it down or lower the volume, the answer was, “it’s by clients request”. What clients? Those over 50? Or over 60? Or the ones with toddlers, young children? ‘ Cause there were none others than these, every of the 6 days we stayed there.
— we had to ask specifically for our room to be cleaned— or if it’s a self service cleaning hotel— after 3 days of staying. It was not and they have a good reason for not housekeeping: there are no universal keys/or duplicates for all rooms thus the housekeeping can do their job in all of them. So if the customer it’s not “at home”, no housekeeping. Indeed when asked , someone from the staff came immediately and cleaned the room. But only because WE notified them and were on the premises.
Don’t get me wrong: I’m not the ever unhappy customer, complaining about everything, no matter what. I’d have cleaned myself if I I had the tools; no problem at all. And this is not a complaint, but rather a suggestion.

A small but very good hotel
We spent 3 nights in Hotel Class, on a Reunion. The place is impeccable clean, attention is given to the smallest details, Service was friendly and professional.
The food we were served was excellent and fresh and the staff was attentive to any request.
The River which flows in the backyard is beautiful and the mountains surrounding ate very relaxing.
I most certainly be back.

Hotel Class 3*** Familly Weekend with good & bads = 6/10 as final verdict/score
A familly weekend (2 adults + 2 little kids) at Hotel Class (3 x stars) Brezoi Romania - "A" Corp/Location with breakfast included / 10th-12th of June 2022.
PROS / "+"
- Great location with a great view of Olt river and the mountains.
- Great breakfast with divers types of food covering all familly needs for a proper day start
- Close as per location to the other Class Restaurant location with room service OK direct from it to the hotel rooms
- Big parking
CONS / "-"
- Price per night a little bit overpassed (around 100Euro) vs the quality of the room, having issues with the nasty smells coming from the bathroom and also not a good level of quality & temperature of hot water.
- Interior swiming pool closed or not heated up by any system and the exterior swiming pool was too cold to use it due to cold & cloud weather => Impossible to be used by my kids, had to go to other heated swimming pool în Călimănești.
- A lot of electrical shotdowns by 12th of June with no other cloudy and/or storm weather as cause...
- Room not properly cleaned up
- High expensive cost for extra facilities as per grill/day, interior swiming pool, etc.
