A very nice surprise - Get out of the usual hotels and come discover

Foreword. Anna is of an incredible kindness and availability. We can ask for everything, she tries to do the right thing ..and she gets there (welcome us at 2:30 in the morning, driver service, proposal of gifts for my wife, try to speak French to make things easier, etc...). At breakfast you will find sweet/savory, at the service, a classy butler and very nice. This hotel located 100m from the main boulevard and/or 10 minutes walk, you will be right in the center of Bucharest.Outside it does not pay for street side mine, but the interior versus 18/19th century, takes you into another world. What a feeling! The room, large, pretty, practical has all the accessories useful to travelers, and then the large bathroom also, marble floor, everything is there, cleanliness without worry - small flat for the bathtub not too wide and difficult to get in and out, nothing serious, requires a defect. What is certain is a very beautiful hotel, is it the principle of holidays? I recommend it without any worries! Go ahead and you won't be disappointed.

Simply wonderful

We stayed in the Scala boutique hotel for a long weekend.
We weren’t disappointed. What a truly beautiful hotel this is. Our room was directly opposite the reception area . It was the most beautiful, opulent room. We had a small balcony which had a table and two chairs. It over looked a lovely court yard and was perfect to sit out and read. The room was spotlessly clean. It was very quiet in the hotel . We didn’t hear any noise at night. The hotel was excellent value.
We arrived to a very warm welcome. Oana the receptionist was so kind and helpful. She booked restaurants and taxis for us. Nothing was too much trouble.
Marcel who served us a drink in the evening was also very welcoming , knowledgeable and passionate about his country , Bucharest .
The restaurant where we had our breakfasts was beautiful. It was a continental type breakfast. There was lots of choice and the food plentiful.
The bar area had such a lot of character as did the whole hotel.
The hotel was in walking distance to the cafes and shops etc.
The scala 5* hotel with 5* staff and I can highly recommend a stay. You definitely would not be disappointed!

A guarantee.

For the second consecutive year, always in the first decade of December, I stayed at this hotel. The central location, the decor, the services it offers make this establishment a must for those who want to stay in Bucharest. Plus, surprise, the staff speaks great Italian. Thanks to the very nice receptionists for their valuable advice on Christmas markets and restaurants to visit. I got to see Cristiano again, whom I had met 5 years earlier in a Boutique hotel. A gentleman of an old-fashioned kindness. I stayed in this exercise from 1 to 5 December, paying with breakfast included 380 euros. The room was the same as the year before (air), while my sister, for the same amount was reserved a larger suite. Clearly I recommend it and include photos. Cheers.

Hotel was lovely, easily walk to the old town. Room would of been nice to have a kettle for tea and coffee. Staff were very helpfull

Everyone there was so very nice, polite, helpful, and knowledgeable! The hotel is fabulous! Antique furnishings, gorgeous rooms… just beautiful! Beyond the gates, you step back in time!!
