Christmas in paradise
We arrived at this guesthouse after a very unpleasant experience at another place in the area, and the contrast could not have been greater. This guesthouse truly felt like heaven on earth. We spent Christmas here, staying until December 27th, and every moment was exceptional.
The staff is fantastic and the service is impeccable. Alex manages the guesthouse superbly—he is always present, attentive, and genuinely eager to help guests feel welcome and cared for. Our stay included an all-inclusive package with delicious food, drinks, and a variety of activities celebrating local traditions. On our first evening, we were treated to carolers during dinner, followed by live traditional music—it was absolutely top-class.
The food alone is worth dreaming about, although it’s impossible to taste everything because there is so much! We have lived outside Romania for the past 12 years, and this is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in during that time.
We enjoyed peaceful walks in the surrounding area, and Alex kindly took us to visit his farm. We also went on a horse-drawn carriage ride, which was simply superb. The guesthouse is pet-friendly, making it a true paradise for animal lovers.
And a special mention goes to Alex’s dog, Lamborg—an absolute delight. You can book this place with complete confidence. It’s brilliant.

Best restaurant I visited
This is one of the most awesome places I have ever been to, and we're planning to revisit this hotel/restaurant this year 2023, also in October-November.
The staff is awesome, very welcoming, inviting, they even shared awesome stories about the local culture.
The rooms are worm, shower is nice, clean, we had a balcony with an awesome view. Because it it a wooden cabin it is a bit noisy and you can hear a lot of noise coming from the neighbors, but who cares, the rest is awesome.
The restaurant? If I would get a superpower I would move this restaurant in my home town and eat there every day.
The breakfast is awesome, a lot of it to go around, I attached photos. The fish, the polenta, the papanasi, I can only say oh my god, can't wait to visit it again this year.

Restaurant
The restaurant is good looking, very nice architecture in the mountain landscape, flowers, they have nice personnel but the food taste is not satisfactorily and the prices are high for what they offer.

Lovely. A must visit
A very beautiful and traditional restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food. The dishes were delicious and they offer a good variety of traditional food. The food arrived quickly even though it was a busy hour and the portions are super generous too. Definetly recommend stopping by.

The restaurant
The price in the menu is for 100 gr. I paid 150 lei / 30 euros for the fish. the service is not the best, I ordered water but it was not brought and at the end I paid for it. The staff didn't smile at all.
