Authentic and comfortable campsite

An authentic camp, very nicely arranged. Typical huts in the middle of a very exotic Jungle garden. Calm and comfort , good bedding, cozy atmosphere.
The baobab camp of popenguine is close to the beautiful beach and shops.A only 20mn from the airport
The plus: a nice pool
Nice address! Allez-y

Expensive setback

Setback. Case very simple. Encampment very tight. View of a wall. All guests, workmen and owner walk by. No privacy. 'Restaurant' turned out to be more communal open plan living room. We were at Christmas and had hoped for something to eat and maybe even some fun, but there was nothing to do at all.
But we thought it was a bizarre value for money. For the same money you have closer to the beach of Popenguine much more space, inside and out, and views.
In other words: I certainly do not recommend this encampment.

Exceptional

Magnificent camp, comfortable individual rooms surrounded by a splendid garden.
Calm, green, fragrant, the baobab camp is a little gem in the village of Poppenguine. Exceptional welcome
Coumba also offers you visits in complete privacy with the camp's vehicle and personal driver. Great stay!

Highly reccommend! Peaceful, beautiful rooms, like at home feeling

We spend 3 nights here with a 2 years old. We liked everything about this place: how it looks - many flowers and nice colors, the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, the fact that we could use the kitchen, the French style breakfast offered there. The place is fine to keep a child busy - lizards, stones, ...
Mostly we liked the Popenguine beach - we were usually the only people there, later some locals used to arrive - it was easy to access with a taxi for 100 cfa or to walk there. One should definitely see this beach, it has a village and an undiscovered feeling, unlike Somone.
