Perfection in Bled
We had a wonderful stay in Guesthouse Pr' Jozef. I would recommend this home if you want peace and quiet.The place is 5 minutes by walk to the centre and Bled lake.
Everything was clean, quiet and friendly. Blake was an amazing host, helping us in everything we need. He was there to greet us when we arrived, and always around, making sure all guests were happy. We wish you a great summer and hope to host you again soon!!

Pay attention when you book if you have babies
I went there with my family in the middle of August after 2 hours trip by car.
When I arrived at the reception the person in charge told me that since I haven’t specified in my reservation that I had my little baby with me, she couldn’t let us check in.
She refused to add a small bed because it wasn’t possible to check in 3 people in a room with 2 beds (even if the baby was only 2 years old).
She also try to refuse to give a room only for me and my baby even if we have a reservation for 2.
Then an other person in charge arrived and the situation was improved. He say that we could have the room we booked (just for me and my babies) or have the money back (since we haven’t slept there).
At the end, we were incredibly lucky to find the last room in an other hotel (a great one) at 10 km from the center. Pay attention when you book because it’s not possible to add an extra bed. A different welcoming, even if the rules are strict, could have improved the situation.

Great place!
Great place to stay! Quiet and close enough to walk into town. The neighbors have great animals that are nice to look at. We ended up staying in the top floor that included a kitchen if you need water for tea or anything the house attendants (his mom I believe) are very nice.
He even offer us a ride from the train which was great of him to do so since we backpacked and where on a budget.

Our beatiful 2 night stay at Bled lake
We were searching (me with my gf) for a nice place near the Bled lake for a reasonable price. We found this Guesthouse Pr' Jozef as a best option and were really satisfied.
Our appartment was bigger than we expected with a balcony to the garden. Rooms were clean and well equipped. We also ordered the breakfast which was rich and very tasteful.
The communication with Blake and his mom was perfect, we also liked the fact it is a family business. They were really helpful, showed us some places that we wanted to visit and helped us to decide which were best for us. The place is 5 minutes by walk to the centre and Bled lake, also very close to good restaurants with the best reviews on tripadvisor.
On the day of check-out we asked Blake if we could leave the car at their parking and have our last walk to the lake. No problem with that :). We surely want to visit this place sometimes in the future and this place is still our favorite.

Convenient location
Booked very last minute but was pretty happy with what we found. Quiet location but still easy walking to the public lido on the lake and he centre of town. We booked for 4 and had two adjoining rooms on the top floor with a shared kitchen with one other bedroom. Bathroom was for our exclusive use though. Only one of the rooms had aircon, but we got round this by leaving both doors open (there was a curtain which separated our 2 rooms and bathroom from the shared kitchen). Most of the year I don't imagine this would have been a problem and we only had to use the aircon for 2 days whilst we were there. There is limited outside space to eat in if catering for yourself, although the owner was happy for us to use his seating area at the back of the house which was lovely. Breakfast provided was really good with extensive local products. 7 Euro pp and the kids were half price. Enough food for us to be able to make our packed lunch for the day. Family run business and everyone was really friendly and willing to help with advice about town and local attractions. Would definitely recommend if you can get a good price. Probably worth haggling as did not seem very busy when we were there and it was late July early August.
