Pearly Shells accomodation

Nice, clean and very warm accomodation. Very close to the sea and nearby shops.
Warmly welcomed as well

Dated but ticks all boxes. Staff are great. Don’t go from June to November as sea angry.

We took the family diving in October and the weather was atrocious. This was a welcome haven in a port of storm.

Pearly shells Terrible , dilapidated , shady and misleading pictures.

The place is dilapidated , lifts do not work and we booked to rooms and were allocated the fourth floor. The main gate fell off when we checked in and the toilets were not working and leaking. We were not refunded our breakage deposit of R1000 even though not was broken and was acknowledged.

Average accommodation

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, cleanliness average. Warning R1000 deposit required which will be returned only in 2 weeks after your stay. Fill in the inventory as its not checked by staff our accommodation had several items missing. General feel is that the establishment is rundown with an elevator that does not work to broken bathroom sink with a bucket to catch the leaking water. There are fans in the room but no adaptors for the two prong plug.

Great resort

A first-rate resort situated in one of the best KZ-Natal South Coast towns. The service, views from the apartments and amenities on site are excellent. Although the building and furniture needs modernisation, it remains a favoured destination for our annual holidays.
