Amazing, Relaxing!
This was our second visit to Spring Vulcano and I have already booked for 2027 with the addition of my 19 year old daughter in a separate room.
Arrival - From the moment we arrived to check in, the experience was very professional and polite. We was given the usual glass of cava as a welcome. We did arrive at 11.45am and our room wasn’t available until 2.30. We was able to put our cases in a secure room and we went off to get a cocktail along the beach. The lovely lady from reception rang us to let us know the room was ready.
Room - This year my husband booked a pool view room with Balance terrace- B&B, upon entering the room I was very,very happy. Everything was immaculately clean and this standard remained for the whole week, maids came in each morning to make beds and refresh everything ( they work extremely hard and always have a smile on their faces) The view we had was lovely, as was the street view we had last year. Air con was very welcoming and did the job. No cockroaches, ants or any other bugs to be seen. The bed was two singles pushed together, with lovely crisp white bed linen- very comfortable. The room at night was very quiet from the moment next door’s entertainment finished at around 11.00pm. Honestly, the best nights sleep all week. The shower was amazing, with the bonus of toiletries if required. I’d be more than happy to have this room again next year.
Pool area - we arrived in August, going to the balance terrace at 10.00, we always got a bed but I was shocked with the amount of broken beds up there considering the extra price you pay - which is a considerable amount. I did raise it with a member of staff at the beginning of our holiday and I was assured this was passed on the management.
There is beer, shandy and juice on offer, many people don’t drink beer or larger - it would be nice to have a wine or a sangria option on tap or given a daily allowance from the main pool bar?
The area around the infinity pool was cleaned to a good standard. The main pool did have a few beds available at 9.30, and there didn’t seem to be a big rush. It’s a very chilled out area.
I would love to try the ‘up!’ area but I can’t justify the extra money.
Breakfast - mmmmm, I enjoyed this very much. Something for everyone. We was celebrating our 20 year wedding anniversary so thought it was more that acceptable to have cava with our breakfast each morning ☺️ can’t fault breakfast at all. The chefs work so hard preparing everything fresh. It’s a bonus that the breakfast is served until 12.00, means you can have a more relaxed morning.
We did not eat evening meals here, we have our favourite restaurants along the mile and on the beach front.
My one suggestion that could put the cherry on top would be if the hotel provided some entertainment / tribute acts at night.
All in all 10/10 and yes I highly recommend if yiu want a peaceful relaxing holiday.
*The broken sunbeds have not affected my rating this year because everything else was perfect, however it quite possibly could next year.

Pool/ Rooms
Brillant hotel, stayed for 10 days with my GF, staff were lovely, room was brilliant, loads of space and cleaners did top notch job. No conplaints, the drinks and food by pool was great and loads of entertainment. 10/10 will have to come back in the future

ok
i’ll start of with positives the hotel is a gorgeous central location breakfast us beautiful and a lot of choice and goes on till 12. i brought my dad for his 80th and my 17 year old girl we arrived to a lovely room and then next morning at 7am the drilling banging shouting started and that continued the whole holiday then halfway threw we went to go to our room and our corridor was closed more work being done on bedrooms so more nice at 7am we said it to managers reception the lot to no avail we weren’t informed of any of this beforehand which we should have been it was a disgrace and it’s an expensive hotel to stay. the pool area needs a huge revamp broken tiles people cutting there feet loose handrails which isn’t good for the elderly .when mentioned to the ignorant pool attendant he did nothing about it if they closed the place for a few months and did the renovations iy would make more sense

We fully understand how frustrating it must have been to experience this noise from early in the morning throughout your stay. We are currently carrying out renovation works as part of our ongoing investment in improving the hotel, and we always endeavour to minimise their impact on our guests as much as possible.
We are particularly sorry that you felt your concerns were not adequately addressed. Whenever a guest experiences any inconvenience related to the works, our Reception team is available to explore alternative solutions, including a room move, subject to availability. We regret that on this occasion we were unable to provide you with a solution that improved your experience.
We also appreciate your comments regarding the pool area and its maintenance. The condition of certain tiles and handrails is something we take seriously, particularly when it concerns the safety and comfort of our guests. Your observations have been shared with the relevant departments for their consideration and follow-up.
We are continuously investing in the maintenance and renovation of the hotel, and the works currently taking place form part of this wider improvement programme. While we understand your suggestion regarding temporarily closing the hotel, carrying out the improvements in phases allows us to continue operating while progressively upgrading our facilities.
We are genuinely sorry that the renovation works had such an impact on what should have been a memorable family celebration. We appreciate your positive comments alongside your constructive criticism, and we hope that, should you decide to visit us again in the future, we will have the opportunity to provide you and your family with the relaxing experience you expected.
