A second home

Every year it is now for us a fixed stop and a sort of second home.
The hotel is family-run and they are all very courteous. The decor of the rooms is simple but nothing is missing (air conditioning and fridge included, as well as the beach umbrella). Recommendation the rooms upstairs.
Ilaria, super nice and helpful to all requests for help and allowed us to take a shower before going to the ferry.
The possibility to dine with dinner menu or à la carte with 10% discount is a plus given how much the restaurant is required (exquisite dishes). Every year it is a joy to arrive and a displeasure to return home:)

Bad service

Bad service.
arrived with Reservation on time, despite there were several other double tables free, we were given a table that we did not like and we immediately asked to change it and the maitre d' agreed but then got lost doing something else; after 15 minutes we then asked a waiter to change the table and if we could order at least the drinks, but the maitre d' arrived after another 15 minutes and at that point we gave up the table change and ordered.
When we serve the two glasses of wine we ordered, we immediately complain that they taste like corks, which the waitress confirms and replaces them.
During dinner we order another glass of wine and serve again what tastes like a cork! They replace it but without apologizing and almost a bit annoyed. at the end the dinner lasts a lot and between first and second course pass 40 minutes.
In general in food is decent and prices average in the area but the service bad bad, I saw the maitre d' around the hall move and I can say that he does not know how to do his job, too confusing and messy, the rest of the service accordingly. A dinner at the restaurant is not just food, but reception service and right timing in the courses, here none of that.

Perfect stay

Excellent value for money. Very kind staff. Very clean. Very quiet and comfortable room. Very good breakfast with sweet and savory and always on time at the opening. After many years in Formentera, I would say that this solution is the one we liked the most. We will definitely be back.

Excellent fish and seafood paella

The wait was a little long but it was worth it: good paella, rich in flavor and seasoning. Both the starter of alioli and olives and the sangria made with various types of fruit were appreciated.
Excellent value for money.

Well located, excellent treatment and good price for Formentera

We have been there the week of August 17 to 23. The hostel is in the center of Es Pujols but a little away from the promenade, making it very quiet and cozy. On the ground floor is the restaurant of the same name as the hostel. Our room had a terrace (ideal for drying towels) and air conditioning. Everything was clean, but if I have something to highlight, it is the excellent treatment of all the staff both at the hostel and at the restaurant itself. We have felt very comfortable because of their friendliness, closeness, their willingness to help us with whatever we needed, to make our stay the best possible and to give us a smile or a conversation despite often being at full capacity to attend to the questions. customer tables. We were there last year and they treated us very well, this year they have surpassed themselves and have set the bar very high for future years. I recommend it and we will surely return, both us and our daughter.
