Absolutely amazing
Here is my honest review
Arrived to the quickest check in ever and given a map to find our room.
The suites are amazing so big. 2 comfy beds with massive pillows. Tv in room. Bathroom big and shower powerful. Nice touch having shower gel shampoo and conditioner provided.
Large living room area and another TV. Leading on to a beautiful spacious balcony. We were lucky to overlook the sea. Cleaned daily bathrobes and slippers provided and chocolates left every day.
Pool areas clean and never a problem with loungers. No morning rush as always availability.
The restaurant is clean tidy and the staff work hard. An abundance of food choices of high quality. There were 2 meat choices and a fish choice each evening in the show chef section. Salads vegetables pastas soup cheese biscuits fruit cakes the list was endless. The staff worked so hard to keep filling up there was never an empty dish.
Always found a table and nice to be served drinks to your table. The entrance area to the restaurant was unbelievable absolutely amazing even waterfalls.
Omelettes cooked fresh each morning quality fruit juices and smoothies. You have so much choice.
Bar areas are great a little dark in places at night if you want to play cards. Drinks of premium quality even Irish coffee and cocktails included.
The entire hotel was so shiny clean at all times.
No smoking hotel throughput but there is just a small smoking area which was great not to smell cigarettes all over although there was a minority of people vaping around the pool and bar area which was a shame as the majority used the designated area. I loved the fact it was a no smoking hotel and clean air zone.
5 mins from airport great to watch the planes and not noisy.
You can walk to Santa Cruz in about 50 minutes the steps are steep on the way. 1e50 on the bus that stops by the pharmacy and great bus connection to parts of the island from Santa Cruz.
A beautiful island quite unspoilt with tourism hiking cycling walking and if you drive a great place to hire a car.
The hotel is relaxed and it was great not to see any loud or drunk groups and so quiet at night. Would have liked to see a dress code in the evening in the restaurant as it was a little too relaxed.
Highly recommend this hotel and the island well done H10 you excelled my expectations. I will definitely come back to both hotel and beautiful island and hope it stays as it is without bars and nightclubs as it’s a little gem of a get away

lovely stay on a beautiful island
the hotel is a 5 minute drive from the airport so it can be a little noisy when planes are landing, but it was fun to watch them from our balcony. on arrival we checked in and we were greeted by Amelia (she was so lovely and helpful), we got straight into our room which was very nice.
we gave this hotel a 4/5 ⭐️, the rooms and the hotel itself was very nice and clean but in terms of an all inclusive the food was a bit average. as a vegetarian - the lay out doesn’t make much sense, meat dishes are placed behind the vegetarian items meaning on 3 occasions i found meat in my food because it had dropped into the non meat dishes when people were serving themselves. it would make more sense to have meat dishes and non meat dishes separate to prevent this. the food does have a single label per item for example ‘chicken with rice’ but it doesn’t state the other ingredients or wether something is V so you just have to guess. however on the last day of our stay we did see some ‘vegetarian’ labels so maybe the hotel is doing more to show this.
on a separate occasion my boyfriend was also served a raw pork kebab so that was a tad off putting too.
the AI drinks were fab and the bar tenders were all lovely, some reviews say staff were rude but we found everyone to be pleasant.
in terms of location, there is a lovely beach about 5 min walk away and there is some beautiful paths you can walk down around the hotel. there was a great pizza place called el geco too (very cheap but yum). there is a SPAR mini supermarket right next door to the hotel which was great too.
there were 4 pools, 2 cold but 1 was heated which was nice. there is a tennis court behind the hotel which is free to use and helped us keep our fitness up as well as a small but well equipped gym downstairs.
over all, we did have a really nice stay here and we would recommend this hotel.

Not suitable for larger families with teens
This is a lovely hotel with great pools and beautiful views. However it is not suitable for larger families. They consider any child age 12 or over as an adult. The accommodation only permits 2 adults per room maximum so this created lots of problems with our children aged 13 and 12.
The hotel manager was not helpful and refused to help, just shouting at us and told us to find alternative accommodation or pay for an extra room. The hotel knew the ages of our children in advance.
The food was nice and the hotel is clean.

Well located but needs a upgrade
We recently stayed at the H10 Taburiente Playa in La Palma for a week while visiting family on the island. We booked a Privilege room on an all‑inclusive basis. Although our room (2244) had a beautiful sea view and was a good size, it didn’t quite live up to the “Privilege” standard. The hotel is older and the room showed noticeable signs of wear and tear.
There were positives: the location is excellent for both the airport and the capital, staff were consistently welcoming and helpful, and the pools were great with no rush for sun loungers. The separate Privilege dining area was a nice touch and made mealtimes feel calmer. Drink measures were generous, the wine at dinner was very good, and premium spirits were available.
However, several issues let the stay down. The air‑conditioning was limited and the temperature controls didn’t seem to work. Our room door latch repeatedly stuck, even after being fixed. Housekeeping was inconsistent — on one day our room wasn’t cleaned despite being out from 9:30 to 18:00, and Privilege perks like water and coffee were only replenished when requested. The floor cleaning product left a slippery, oily residue that felt unsafe. Wi‑Fi dropped frequently, though the hotel did advise it was being upgraded. Despite the hotel’s no‑smoking policy, cigarette butts were visible around the paths and some guests smoked on balconies.
Overall, I would rate this hotel as a 3‑star property. It has potential and some genuinely good features, but it needs investment and updating to reach a higher standard. Would I return? Possibly — but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

Very special place
Just returned from this hotel after a week long holiday with my partner. The hotel is lovely with friendly helpful staff. We were half board and were really pleased with the food options. The food is very Spanish and authentic. There was a different fresh fish cooked each night along with a meat, ie pork chops, lamb etc. Both freshly cooked on the grill. Alongside this was a roast meat each day. Plenty of choice of salads, cheeses etc. The other options available were mainly hot items like lasagne, stews etc. This is not a kids meal type of place. No nuggets burgers etc. The breakfast had plenty of choices too. Omelette made fresh, although you have to prepare any fillings you want yourself. Lots of fruit, pasties and breads available. We loved the authentic nature of the hotel. The island mainly caters to the Spanish visitors it receives which is a refreshing change from the usual Canary islands.
Rooms are clean and bright. Housekeeping is good and the nightly visit with chocolates is a lovely gesture. The pool areas are great. No rush for sunbeds always plenty to be had. Nobody seems to reserve them and leave them empty all day like we've seen in other places. The pool bar does an excellent lunchtime menu if you're not all inclusive. €4.5 for a toasties with salad and chips. Water is free from dispenser for everyone. We expected to eat out sometimes but the food was so good we didn't. We only spent €200 on drinks and lunches which for 2 of us I thought was reasonable, especially as the football was on. The island is beautiful and we would recommend booking trips early as they fill up quickly. We hired a car from the desk in the hotel lobby. It was simple to do. We drove round the entire island in a day but feel a trip would have allowed us to see the island better. There are so many hairpin bends and speed limit changes there is little opportunity to look at scenery as you drive. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here and will definitely return.
