Relaxing & so peaceful
We came for one night before we went on the next day to the villa we had hired. We had a lovely time at El Ecinar. Our rooms were large and had a bedroom and a separate room/shower room (room no.5) - it was very rustic and classy. We had a lovely area outside with soft furnishings to relax in the sun. There is an honesty book where you write down what drinks you had. You also have to write down in the book what you want for dinner and what time you are coming. Our meal was lovely - we had bread and olives to start with which came anyway - shrimp risotto and two bottles of Mallorcan wine. Breakfast in the morning was very good - hams, meats cheeses, bread, fruit, home made marmalade, croissants and a choice of egg. All in all a great start for our holiday. I would say that if you are not very mobile it is quite uneven so you definitely have to watch your step. We would go back again if we were in the area... Very reasonable cost for our food and drinks which came to £73

A beautiful oasis of tranquility.
If you are looking for a relaxing stay in peaceful surroundings, overlooked by trees and glorious countryside, this is the place. Everywhere feels like home and the hosts are a delightful couple where nothing is too much trouble. The daily breakfast was very good and you can make drinks throughout the day. The Finca is a 10 minute drive from Arta, but is also perfectly located for exploring this part of the island. The accommodation is rustic looking but very comfortable, each with its own private outdoor area to chill. We've really taken to Mallorca and would love to return again soon.

A huge and tastefully decorated estate
Magical place in an incredible site, a finca far from the crowds. Volker welcomed us into his estate like at home. Delicious breakfast with local products. Change your vacation for this very tasteful place. The only regret at the end of the season was that the restaurant was closed.

Very peaceful location.
This Finca was in a beautiful and quiet setting, if a long way from the road.
The gardens were lovely but maybe needed some attention, maybe it was because it was the end of the season.
The pool and restaurant are was lovely and the honesty bar very usefull as you didn’t need to wait for service.
Breakfast was adequate if a little plain.
Our room wasn’t the same as we booked, but was a studio, it could have been better, but the outside area was nice. The bedroom was very plain, and had no soundproofing,
We could hear our late to bed neighbors every night.
The staff were very good and the food in the evening was excellent.

Simple, homely and great location
We stayed for three nights in July in room / apartment 5 at El Encinar. Very simple set-up- lovely pool, gardens, views and honesty bar to keep you refreshed during the day. The apartment was large enough for two adults and two teenage daughters - small fridge and air conditioning - and there is a little seating area outside, plus plenty of sunny and shaded areas to relax in the gardens.
Breakfast was served up on the main terrace and they also made the best scrambled egg I have ever tasted. If you give enough notice in the morning, Delores and her team will make and leave sandwiches for you for lunch - and this might be handy to pre-order if arriving around lunch-time and haven't stopped en-route. Dinners were great (around 15/20 euros per main) and Delores made a lot of effort to make everyone happy and also provide my fauna-friendly vegetarian wife with other options.
The other great thing about El Encinar is the location. Arta is about seven minutes drive one way, and lots of beaches are within ten to twenty minutes easy driving. Arta has quite a few restaurants (Le Parisian is a favourite) plus small supermarket, pharmacy and touristy / trinket shops.
If your kids are a bit older, then I would recommend Cala Agulla beach as it has waves that crash in which is quite exciting - but would be a bit worrying with toddlers. Costs about 5 euros to park for the day and you can hire beds under a parasol.
Really delighted with El Encinar - staff (especially Delores) were all fantastic.
