What makes this hotel particularly special is that it is also a hotel and restaurant school, with students working alongside the regular staff as part of their training. We really enjoyed being part of their learning experience, it added something genuinely unique and charming to our stay.
The hotel itself is older and not particularly modern, but everything was exceptionally clean, including our room. The soundproofing between rooms isn’t the best, so you can hear your neighbours at times, but the hotel was lovely and quiet in the evenings and we slept very well.
Both the permanent staff and the students were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
And the view, absolutely fantastic! Waking up to that beautiful Mediterranean sea view from our room was definitely one of the highlights.
A very enjoyable stay with a lovely atmosphere, made even more memorable by all the students working hard to learn their profession. We would happily stay here again.

Training hotel in a place that has spoken out against tourists
Sant Pol de Mar
This is a clearly outdated hotel which is used for training in the hotel industry.
The room is clean with a wonderful sea view. Dogs are allowed. The bathroom is very narrow and the shaft next to the bathroom can become an odor trap.
The beds are very comfortable and we slept well. The air conditioning works very well. However, it is wonderful to be able to sleep in the evening with the door to the balcony open. The beach and the “downtown” are close. There is a parking space in front of the hotel and a small pool. We just had breakfast there. Breakfast has a good selection with fresh fruit. We relaxed well during our visit there.
It is a 3 star house that is not up to date with the demands. But we only give it 4 stars. The service staff is selected friendly and does their best. English is spoken at reception and partly in service. Please do not expect German.
