There was an issue with the hot water one morning, but it was resolved the same day.
The reception staff was exceptional, at check-in as well with responses to issues. Gracias.

The male receptionist was unwelcoming, unhelpful, and obstructive.
The lady receptionist was welcoming friendly and helpful.
There appeared to be no shops supermarkets or restaurants nearby.
Local bus connections to the city centre were good and only cost 1.20€

No TV in the room- I missed the games from the Football World Cup 2026.
No A/C in the room, how I can live in a room when the inside temperature is over 30 deg C.

Excellent value and great sized rooms BUT they’ve turned off the the ventilation system as I guess the university students have left for the summer. So our rooms were all around 30 degrees with a small window opening only….not a good nights sleep to be had

Clean, modern room with kitchenette. No mugs however so had to improvise with the terracotta pot of cuajada I had just bought.
24 hour reception were very helpful. There was no corkscrew in the kitchenette (screw top wine bottles don't exist) but I asked the elder chap who was on reception duty and he had one and kindly opened the bottle for me. I needed a tin opener (ring pull failed) the following evening but the younger chap on reception helped again. There is a sachet of shampoo and shower gel provided but no little soap to wash your hands. However, there are two supermarkets nearby to stock up on things (closed on Sundays).
There was just a sheet on the bed (no duvet) so it got a bit cool at night.
No television in the room but there is a common room in the basement with a large screen TV and again the elder chap on reception kindly showed me the way to the common room.
There is a bus stop outside and the no. 1 bus stop is just a short walk away. I actually walked from the airport to the Residencia (1.5 hours) and it is very pedestrian friendly.
Would definitely stay again.
