Charming hotel with city views, without noise.

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel blue pillars. Located on the heights, the noise of the city is far, while the city center is close, in tuk tuk.
The view from the breakfast room is superb. The decor makes the charm of the place.
The staff was very helpful and helpful.
It's a good place to be in Kandy.

On the plus side, it's a beautifully situated property, very nicely decorated, with tasty breakfast and good, caring service with a smile.
On the minus side, there is no noise insulation in the room at all, you will get very loud environmental noises leech into the room from outside all day and night. Luckily I brought earplugs so I wasn't bothered that much. There was a good amount of spider webs around the A/C and one live but small roach on the towel rack.
Overall it was a pleasant stay, providing great value in a friendly atmosphere, and I recommend it.

Breakfast with a view

Very clean and quiet hotel, amazing breakfast with a view on the rooftop terrace. All the staff was super kind. 100% recommended.

Couldn’t ask for more - highly recommended!

Lovely hotel with amazing breakfast served on the to floor overlooking the Kandy. We had a large family room which was perfect with an extra bedroom and separate bathroom. Would highly recommend - great value and vey friendly staff

Incredible hospitality

The real standout here is the service. They fetched us from the train station and had great communication along the way. I ordered food delivery one night and they set out little plates and bowls for us to eat it in the rooftop restaurant even though it was late. They started breakfast early for us on days we had an early tour, handled laundry for a reasonable fee with next day turnaround, and just bent over backwards to make sure we had whatever we needed. The property was comfortable and in a great location. The breakfast spread was also really impressive every morning.
