Robbery inside hotel dining hall.
The hotel should not allow anyone to just walk in. They said it's a common problem in Stockholm.
Needless to say, it put a damper on all our mood that day.

Incidents like this are very unusual at our hotel, and we take the safety and security of our guests very seriously. During the tourist season, unfortunately, professional criminal groups sometimes travel to Sweden specifically to commit this type of theft in busy public places, including hotels.
Our hotel has surveillance cameras and established procedures to prevent unauthorized people from entering our premises. However, it can be difficult to prevent someone from gaining access when they simply pretend to be a hotel guest and enter alongside other guests, blending into a group. In a busy breakfast setting, this can unfortunately create an opportunity for theft before staff are able to identify the individual.
We completely understand how upsetting this must have been, particularly as passports, money and personal documents were involved. We are continuously reviewing and strengthening our security procedures to help prevent incidents like this from happening again.
We sincerely apologize that this unfortunate event affected your group's experience and hope the rest of your stay in Stockholm was more enjoyable.

Easy access to city centre via orange tram to Gulmarsplan and then T-ban into the centre.

The breakfast was excellent, and the location was very convenient. There’s a small shopping center nearby with a grocery store, pharmacy, cafés, and other shops, and public transportation is just a short walk away. The city center is about 30 minutes away, which I found to be very reasonable and easy to reach.
Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
