I think it's a bit of a bummer that parking needs to be carried out by the customer via yet another website. Hotels should handle their own parking thru and thru. Also, we didn't realize that the restaurant that handled the breakfast was a small walk, and that was a bit of a not so nice surprise as well for a walking-limited person such as I.
Other than that, the restaurant also served dinner (a big plus), we managed to get a parking spot for the 2nd night and everything worked fine at the end. Breakfast was also super good!

On the whole - no thanks.

That's okay! Hysterical breakfast buffet with lots of people. A little boring rooms that are totally impersonal, lifeless, and where curtains hung on the snisse. But okay we slept very well. The pool area was clear to families with children. Livat. The Jacuzzi was pure disappointment. Playhouse for children and parents (?), ash cold water, had to run into the sauna to warm us up. The hotel is located next to the ferry, it's a plus when we arrived in the middle of the night though. It's hard to find parking in the middle of the night.
The only plus was the receptionist into breakfast who informed so nicely and really invited everyone (dialect Gotlandic) It warmed my heart to meet her in the morning. Expensive stay!!
We lived at the top of the yellow house, and there went windows to open, dangerous for families with children!!!!

tack för din feedback efter vistelsen hos oss.
Tråkigt att ni inte fick den vistelsen ni önskat.
Jag ser att du bodde i det huset vi ej renoverat till det nya konceptet än och håller med om att intrycket är annorlunda där än i övriga rum. Dock skall inte gardiner hänga på sniskan och vi skall se över fönstren.

A bit disappointed.

Had a superior room with terrace. The room was very small and narrow, expected more when it is called superior. Nothing superior with this room! Two people with luggage, and the room was completely full, one can barely pass each other. The bathroom was ok but tight to get into the shower, the doors go towards the toilet and sink. Nice with terrace because the room was so narrow, but there was no privacy on the terrace. It turned out towards a walkway between the houses, and the parking lot, plus that other guests in the house used a door next to our terrace door - this led to the stairs in the house - to go out and in the house. The bed was good, but I didn't like the pillows. Cleanliness was good. Couldn't lower the temperature in the room much, luckily it wasn't so hot those days we were there. Had to sleep with open windows, it went fine, fortunately not much noise.
Breakfast is ok. When there was a lot of people, it became empty for more things, and the staff had trouble filling up quickly enough.
The description here on Tripadvisor states that parking is free. We paid SEK126 per day. When a hotel is located outside the city centre and has a large parking lot, I think they should have free parking for guests. (Visby Harbour right across the street for the hotel has long-term parking for SEK50 per day.)
The location is quite straightforward, it takes a few minutes to walk to the old town.
Friendly staff.

If you don't have toddlers, choose something else!

Not worth the price. Feels more like a hostel than a hotel, so I recommend choosing a hotel inside the walls instead. The service was poor, you had to tell at least 24 hours in advance to get cleaning or new towels. The location is also a big disadvantage, far from Visby and with a boring walk along a busy road to get into town. The hotel also felt worn and unfresh. The breakfast was below contempt with bad refills, sticky around the buffet and a really bad coffee. If you’re not travelling with young children, there are far better options.

Hej,
vad tråkigt att du inte hade en bra upplevelse hos oss där vi inte varit tydliga med tid för bl.a bokning av städning.
Städning ingår i rumspriset men behöver bokas senast 23.00 kvällen innan för att få den garanterad, säger man till samma dag så går det oftast att lösa med.
Vi hade under er vistelse ett litet antal rum som inte var renoverade än men det blir de nu när vi påbörjat vår ombyggnation av just det huset.
Avseende frukostupplevelsen så är det givetvis inte så vi vill upplevas så vi tackar för den feedbacken och ser över det.

Nice hotel with plans for expansion

The hotel needs a little better facilities for its breakfast. The rooms are quite okay and the cleaning ok. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very friendly. The hotel has plans for major changes during 2026-2028.

Ja det stämmer att vi gör positiva förändringar och uppför en ny byggnad med gott om plats för reception och restaurang.
Vi ser verkligen fram emot det och kan knappt vänta tills det står klart.
