Fabulous stay, excellent room and wonderfully hospitable staff
When we arrived at the hotel it quickly became obvious we were the only guests. The hotel has only been open 18 months or so and I imagine they usually cater to Thai people on their holidays. Our room was lovely, had a huge really comfortable bed and the best pillows I've ever slept on. We had the small pool area to ourselves every day of our stay. There is a coffee shop on site serving all the usual types of coffee and very indulgent cakes and cookies.
The best thing about our stay was how well we were treated by the manager and her staff. Breakfast was a feast and every afternoon the staff would arrive at tge pool with different drinks and complimentary snacks for us. We were given lifts into the city, they even collected us when we arrived after a 6 hour bus trip from Chiang Raj and couldn't find the place (due to the incorrect location given). When we left we were driven to the airport. A really fabulous stay and thank you to the Doitinnan manager and her staff for their wonderful hospitality, the best we found out of all the places we stayed on our trip to Thailand.
Just as an aside we caught the local bus from Chiang Raj bus station (1 I think). There is 1 bus each day which leaves at 9.30am and cost 150 thb each. The airport in Nan has regular flights to Bangkok.

Schöne Hotelanlage
Das Teakholzhäuschen mit Dusche/Lavabo/WC ist sehr schön gemacht.
Gemütlich! Wir waren aber viel unterwegs um die Gegend zu erkunden.
Früstück-Buffet ist sehr mager und für Vegis wirds echt bescheiden. Aber man isst ja eh wieder auswärts...
Ärgernis: Auf der Leinwand im Esssaal läuft dauernd ein Thai-Action-Krimi. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste und so wünschte ich, dass man diese Projektion doch ausschalte, was sofort gemacht wurde. Aber kaum 5 min später kam die Rezeptionistin und schaltete wieder ein. Ergo: Kundenwünsche sind hier daneben! Wäre ja gelacht, wenn der einzige Kunde sich wohler fühlen könnte!
