Great hotel

A great hotel with maids at the top of the servers and bartenders named toz and tak are really incredibly nice and helpful and our Thailand vivi /Anne / angel bank and David the French also amazing and there to explain and learn a lot of things.

Very Disappointing – Needs Major Renovation
I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Beyond Kata Hotel. The hotel is very outdated and, in my opinion, does not meet the standard expected of a 4- or 5-star property.
Cleanliness was a major issue. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, there was visible mold around the corners of the shower, and some of the tiles were broken. The elevators were also extremely dirty, and the corridors and walkways looked old and poorly maintained.
The level of service was another major disappointment. After 5 p.m., there was no concierge available. When we needed a taxi, we were simply told to go outside the hotel area and find one ourselves. The lobby also closes down at night, with the lights turned off and virtually no hotel services available apart from reception.
The breakfast was also below the standard I would expect from a hotel of this category.
The only real positive is the location. The hotel is directly on the seafront and has beautiful sea views. Unfortunately, the location and view cannot compensate for the poor cleanliness, outdated facilities, lack of service, and overall condition of the property.
This hotel is in urgent need of renovation and significant improvement in housekeeping and guest services. Based on my experience, I would rate it below 3 stars and would not stay here again.

THAI COOKING CLASS

We did the Thai Cooking Class, the meals we created were incredibly tasty and the staff were so helpful & knowledgeable. Thanks so much to the chefs & staff - Poo, Prathmesh & Anongnipa. We created Thai Beef salad, Kapraow Beef & Massaman Beef Curry. We totally enjoyed our time learning how to prepare authentic Thai meals
Excellent & we'll worth attending

Amazing Holiday ✨✨

This Hotel would have to be the best at Kata Beach, Rooms clean and fresh.
Staff are amazing especially
AE who cleaned our room, she is so accommodating, cleaning immaculate.
Yak at the pool bar, always greeted us with a smile and nothing was a problem, they deserved mention.Last but not least the Hotel Manager Glenn who went over and above for our ultimate stay, we will be booking again for next year.

like Benidorm or Lloret de Mar

Incredible, a hotel that closes the gym and the hotel pool in August in Thailand at 7:00 PM... when they don't even have a lifeguard... in the middle of summer and people can't swim after 7 PM, but then they put an orchestra in the hotel lobby until 11:00 PM that reaches all the rooms... it's a hotel with good rooms, one of the worst buffets I've seen in that area, and the restaurant is open in the middle of the hotel, which makes everything smell like fried rice and fried food. Weak, very weak
