Helpful staff, clean room and the breakfast was ok. Seems like a bit unsafe area but otherwise location is very central.

Great central location.

Hotel in a great central location, a short walk outside the hotel and you are immediately in the center, below the hotel is the City2 shopping center, many pubs, and fast food along the shopping street (below the hotel) in front of the hotel is the Rogier station with underground tram that goes to Midi station (get off) to take the Flibco shuttle to Charleroi airport, and the metro to go anywhere, good breakfast both sweet and savory, huge croissants, very kind and helpful reception staff, really kind and available breakfast room staff, very attentive and good cleaning, the only downside: the hotel is very dated, the bathroom seemed hospital-like, the room was extremely hot making it impossible to sleep at night, we were sweating, impossible to sleep, no air conditioning, no fan, just a "thing" that made noise placed there to cool and create airflow (name: little tree) I got information: a contraption from the 90s I don't know how it still works, but it didn't work, at one point instead of blowing air it sent hot air (outside it was 33/34 degrees) not even makeup stayed on my face, how does one survive in summer without air conditioning?? At least put in a modern fan! Simple 3 Blades! Anyway, good and excellent location, but absolutely not recommended in summer. If you suffer from the heat, do not go! Sauna guaranteed at all hours! I am sorry.. it made me hate Brussels.

Dated but clean .

A dated but clean hotel .
Staff are very pleasant and accommodating.
Be mindful that you book breakfast prior to your visit otherwise it is more expensive.
Other reviews state that the breakfast is excellent. I would say that it is ok . Buffet style , pastries , cereal . Hot food is ok . Hot drinks from a machine.
Average throughout. Although staff are very helpful and friendly.
Our room was on the second floor at the front of the hotel . It was noisy with the traffic and emergency service vehicles going past- but it didn’t bother us .
Bed , clean , mattress hard , pillows dreadful and only three of them .
Mini fridge- empty
Tea / coffee making facilities
The room though dated was clean .

Good location & clean. Average quality breakfast.
However the hotel is very dated & in need of an upgrade.
No air con & only a small desk top fan provided in 38° heat. Room was far too hot for a comfortable sleep & the noise from the street below kept us awake too. Rooms at the back of the hotel may be a bit quieter.

A lot of the outlets around the room did not work… including the AC we had to unplug the refrigerator to plug it in and then move the refrigerator to get it to work…twice. They unplug and turn off the AC and refrigerator when they come in to change out your towels. Not a problem just something to know.
