Drinks and snacks

Well what can we say! What a fantastic visit!!
Staff very friendly and good laugh, fantast
ic value and great atmosphere! Can sit in outside and take in the atmosphere! We loved it

Don't count on it

We booked a 5 night stay for May of 2020. We live in the U.S. Of course in March all travel came to a screeching halt. We contacted the hotel, they would not give a refund but they would put our file to the side and honor our reservation when we could travel again. No one knew that it would be 2 years for travel to begin again but it was. I have been trying to reach the hotel since January, 2022. Granted it is unusual circumstances but I would have liked some acknowledgment whether it was negative or positive. I thought they might have went out of business but they still have a presence on the internet. I have sympathy for business during covid but would have liked a say on who I donated money to.

Hotel Orts was a disaster !

This hotel was a disaster. Hotel rooms don’t match the pictures on the hotel website at all. The hotel room was much much smaller, You can’t stand up next to the bed as there is only 25 cm of space, so you have to crawl up into bed. The walls were covered with dirty stains. The toilet was out of funktion and the toilet lid was loose. The toilet was clogged. There was no heat in the hotel room. The breakfast was an old dry croissant. The television didn't work and you can't even make a cup of coffee. It’s difficult to get in touch with a receptionist at the hotel and they don’t speak English, only French. I paid 290 Euro for 3 nights and we left the hotel in the middle of the night one day before. We had to check out after two days because of this very very low standard. Not recommended - it's waste of money - please stay away !

Not professional

My flight was cancelled last minute, therefore I couldn't honour my reservation. As if it was not enough, the Hotel refused to reimburse the cost of the reservation. @HotelOrts , you earned 1 night, but you lost a client.

Central and charming

The room I had was very small and the building was old and not exactly leveled, but I liked it and I slept well for the one night I stayed in Brussels. There are lots of restaurants and bars just outside as Hotel Orts is situated very central. I came by train from the airport and walked between the hotel and train station which was not long but beware of many cobbled stoned streets (esp. if you drag along a suitcase on wheels like I did). Grand Place and Manneken Pis etc. is also very close. I recommend the hotel for a short stay, and would have given it a higher score if the room (and bathroom) had been a bit bigger. :-)
