The staff, the valets, the front desk, were extremely polite and responsive. All facilities were very clean. The bartenders and waitstaff are top notch. And you cannot beat the location!

Excellent 2 night stay. the rooms are spacious and staff very friendly. For the same price at Fairmont, Auberge St Antoine offers a better deal.

This is a lovely hotel with superb location. It is a better value and nicer property than the huge landmark hotel up the hill.

Lovely 3 night weekend get away as a couple - hotel service was excellent - hotel beautiful - definitely will be back 💛

Very dissappointed

I was expecting a deluxe, elegant experience at this property, especially in view of the fact that it is a member of Relais & Chateaux and holds 2 Michelin stars. We arrived at the Auberge for check-in around 10 AM on the 19th of May. The Front desk staff did not appear welcoming, friendly or in any way willing to help. We were flatly told we had to wait until 4 PM for a room. We were finally given our keys at 3:30 and would finally be able to unpack and relax. At 6 PM housekeeping knocked on the door for turn down so that would be the end of relaxation. We had no turn down during our next 2 days at the property.
Breakfast buffet was meager and unappetizing so we walked out of the dining room. The room was pleasant - nothing special. Bathroom was very small. Shower and tub, clumsy. We called the desk to ask how to access the guide on the TV remote. We were told there was none since recent work on the network had eliminated this feature. We asked during our stay about a "do not disturb" hanger for the door. We were told there was a switch on the right side of the door but we saw no such switch. We later found out that some rooms do have such a switch, ours did not.
On morning of check out, I went to the front desk just before our Uber arrived to review extra charges and to get a print out. According to the invoice, agent 24 checked us out. He handed me the print, saying “here you go.” No kind words of "thank you" or "how was your stay" or "have a safe journey." Just, “here you go.” So, would I be wrong to say that staff were cold? Apathetic? Distant? Prejudiced? Bored? Dunno.
As a retired travel industry manager, I feel that when fine hotels or restaurants slip up, management should be apprised.
