Perfect place for a visit to the Christmas markets

We had an excellent stay here. Very comfortable beds. Free tea and coffee throughout the day with a comfy seating area. Reasonably priced. The perfect place to stay to enjoy the Christmas markets in Cologne!

For short trip Ok

We spent a night together at the day8 hotel in Cologne and were overall very satisfied. The room was clean, tidy and just right for a short overnight stay.
The breakfast for 15 € we found a bit overpriced, however, as many products were more reminiscent of discounter quality. For the price we would have expected a little more choice or higher quality components.
Nevertheless: For simple, uncomplicated overnight stays, the hotel is highly recommended. Friendly service, clean rooms and a good location make the stay pleasant. We would come back for a short trip anytime.

Recommended for for a short stay or business traveler.

While looking for a hotel in Cologne Sülz I came across the Day 8 Hotel. It exceeded my expectations in every way. The building is completely renovated so the rooms are up to date and accordingly clean. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The street in front of the hotel did not bother me thanks to the good insulation otherwise there are enough rooms to the courtyard. In the immediate vicinity there are several restaurants and other opportunities to spend the evening. For a short stay or business trip, the hotel is ideal.
