Although property was clean it was far too small for 4 people. Once the very uncomfortable sofa bed was opened it took up the whole room and it was difficult to walk past or to use the kitchen areas. No space for luggage. There was an empty hand soap dispenser in the bathroom, one small bottle of shower gel and 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 4 nights. The pillows were paper thin and not great. The location was good and a balcony (even though the view was not great) was nice to have. The photos when booking were misleading. Making it look bigger than it was.

Online pictures are dated - the unit is tired, poorly maintained and with non functioning appliances (washer was broken, ruined our clothes, and response to handle was poor). The gym was locked for some reason even though it was supposed to be open 24/7. The shower was broken and two of the three bathrooms leaked. The doorhandles for one of the bedrooms was not correctly installed (missing screws) so fell off every time one opened the door, and one of my children got locked inside the room. They give you one pillow case and towel per person. I had to ask for more pillow cases, towels and even bath mats (and was threatened with an additional charge). The common areas of the building were filthy and poorly maintained (and dark - and accident waiting to happen). Pay a bit more and stay elsewhere.

Comfortable, great value stay in Athens!
IO Suites is perfect for traveling with friends or family - we had a clean, spacious apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a well-furnished living/dining/kitchen area.
Cristina was an excellent host - very proactive and responsive, reaching out via email and WhatsApp with helpful information and always available for questions. The apartment was easy to find, check-in was smooth, and everything was spotlessly clean. Quiet location, firm beds, and we all slept great. It's a bit off from the main tourist center but just a short walk to the metro, in a nice (if quiet) neighborhood.
Overall, great value for money!
One issue: there were no cleaning services during our stay, which is fine, but we couldn't flush toilet paper (had to use bins instead) and no one came to take out the trash. We also didn't see any instructions for disposing of trash ourselves. This really needs to be addressed by the property.
Despite that hiccup, we'd still recommend IO Suites - just be aware of the trash situation if you're staying multiple nights.

Excellent location close by the subway. Very safe area close to grocery stores, bakeries, and restaurants. Would definitely return.
