Staff were so welcoming and helpful. The property was in such a fun neighborhood. Really enjoyed the stay.

Honeymoon perfection
Our stay at the Foundry Suites was incredible. Terrific location, very comfortable, excellent amenities, fabulous breakfast and above-and-beyond service. Konstantina was AMAZING. She was warm, friendly, and made us feel at home. Great value, clean rooms, vibrant atmosphere. Cannot recommend enough, we will be staying here every time we visit Athens. If I could give the Foundry Suites six stars, I would.

Vintage sky blue
Everything used to be much earlier my child and the sky will never be that blue again…………….

.......yes, it is, in this hotel at least, on an enchanting blooming terrace with a panoramic view over the big city of Athens - where almost all of Greece lives and works - and in between the Acropolis and the blue sky. The hotel and its terrace is a (quiet) oasis in the middle of this city (very central location), have your breakfast and "picnic" on this city meadow. (Mmh, spirulina oat milk smoothie, quite delicious!) Do you still remember the sound of a rotary phone dial, or the dropping of the needle on a record player, and the soft "click" of the light switch? The nostalgia of the hotel is very touching - and the entrance door to the hotel took me back to a world, no, not better, but one that I knew.
Likewise the care of the entire staff, thanks to Konstantina (for your smile and warmth), Konstantino (100% accurate room description, e.g., quiet apartment, via email), Paulo (for getting up on the day of departure), and of course Yannis. Yannis with a practical helpfulness (or better, "caring personality") that is almost extinct, willingness to explain, and patience with people for whom this world is too fast. (Thanks for the ticket booking and printing, for booking the driver, please, best regards to him as well). No, it was not important to us to have a special tour guide; everything is certainly available online and can be accessed anytime and anywhere. This driver, his knowledge, and his experiences from Greek life were preferable to us. And not to forget, the ladies from housekeeping!
Take "time" to look at the hotel's website and follow the descriptions of the rooms; they are 100% accurate. Be sure to ask, you will get the answers you wish for! All the stars for this sky.

Lovely Staff and Nice Accommodations
My husband and I spent five nights at the Foundry Suites and enjoyed our stay. The staff is lovely - so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. I brought some tea and appreciated the kettle and coffee mugs. The kitchenette is equipped so that you could cook if you wanted (which I didn't want to do on vacation) and even has some Greek spices. The Nespresso machine makes a small amount of coffee than Americans are used to. We didn't order breakfast from the hotel, but there are several bakeries within a few minutes of walking. We loved the location - about 20 minutes from the Acropolis for our 0745 tour, about 20 minutes to many other sites, and 10-15 minutes or less to restaurants and shops. Perfect spot without being in the middle of all of the noise. The rooftop was a nice, quiet place to view the Acropolis in the evening and enjoy a glass of wine from the room. Would stay here again.

Great Hotel, Staff and Location
This was a lovely hotel for the price. I would definitely stay again. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Clean and neat. Very close to the Acropolis.
