GreAt place

The place is right in the center of the city, you have a non stop near by and a lot of caffes and placea to eat. I recommend bistro synagogue and “a table”. The apartment is cosy and clean, you feel like home. The owner is friendly and speaks english. They have a private parking and is costs 10 euro/day. It is definitely worth it!!

Perfect clean and quiet flat in the lively Jewish quarter

Super flat in the Jewish quarter on a quiet street close to all the restaurants, bars and nightlife. Trüde met us at the allotted time, she spoke good English so check in was smooth and easy. The apartment was well heated, had comfy beds (large double and two singles), wifi, washing machine, bathroom and the toilet was separate (which we preferred, no queues). The living room, kitchenette and dining area was open plan which we liked as it was more sociable. Bedrooms were at the back so you heard little noise which was a godsend in this very lively location. Budapest is a fantastic city and we would return to Astra apartments in a heartbeat.

Good choice for long weekend!

Nice landlady, good location clean apartment!
The sofabed is comfortable to sleep on but since there is a window to the hallway the light in the hallway can disturb during the night.
Very well equipped apartment made our long weekend a success.

Beautiful city, but a word of caution.

Just back from four day stay at Astra apartments in Budapest. Comfortable, warm, quite central and reasonably priced. The landlady was pleasant and very helpful. BUT, when taking a taxi BEWARE, there are freelance taxi drivers who drive yellow cars which can be mistaken for the bona fide taxi companies. They are not regulated & in my experience are not trustworthy. The no. of the taxi in which I was grossly overcharged & short changed was 1 36 255 255. This did momentarily added a negative tone to an otherwise pleasant city break.

location

The location is great, walking distance from everything that you'd like to see in Budapest. We rented a studio apartment and it has all that you need, good kitchen with everything you need if you would like to cook, bathroom with washing machine, hair dryer, you get clean towels and sheets. The app was clean and tidy. And you can see from a window synagogue :) You have option of parking place near apartment for 10€ a day. The lady welcome us and took us to the apartment. Definitely recommend!
