Very accommodating staff at the counter when we arrived, the room was available early and advice about parking and other facilities was great. Parking was also very good. Excellent breakfast.
Great location of the hotel too. Recommended!

TERRIBLE service & RUDE manners

A hotel with normal sized rooms. The sliding bathroom door in room 722 is broken - when you try to close it, it stops at the top but the bottom is open a span. In terms of the hotel's decor, the hotel is far from 4 stars. But the door that doesn't close is not the worst thing about this hotel. In terms of service, it's TERRIBLE. The hotel's website says that parking at the hotel costs 20 euros or 6,000 forints (see attached photo). 6,000 forints is approximately 16.5 euros at the official exchange rate. On the morning of August 15, 2026, I wanted to pay for the parking for one night as a hotel guest. The receptionist who introduced herself as Sofia said I should pay 23 euros for one night. After I informed her that when I made my reservation on their website in Booking, their conditions were as quoted above, she continued to told me to pay 23 euros. I flatly refused and informed her that I wanted to pay the amount of 6000 in forints because I had some available. She started explaining to me that this was the price she was instructed to collect for parking. I insisted on paying 6000 forints as stated in the ad. She started talking to me loudly, shouting and yelling. Extremely unacceptable behavior from a hotel employee towards a guest. She refused to connect me with the hotel management. In the end, I had to pay 20 euros despite the forints I had and that the official currency in Hungary is forints and not euros. DO NOT GO to this hotel unless you want RUDE manners.

Amazing

Central location, great hotel room, had everything we needed, staff are amazing and helpful, would absolutely stay again, thank you Exe Budapest Centre hotel

Logistically perfect

Clean property, very close to the subway stop and the 100 E line (direct to and from the airport).
Kind at the reception, clean rooms, and well soundproofed (directly on a very busy street).
Unfortunately, the only and serious problem: in addition to the lack of a bidet, THERE WAS NO TOILET BRUSH...

Disappointment

While the central location is convenient and the breakfast was enjoyable, the rest of our stay was very disappointing. The room's mini-fridge was barely working, and the bathroom had a lot of mold.
To make matters worse, a personal item (perfume) disappeared from the room following housekeeping. The front desk was unhelpful and said they couldn't find it. When I repeatedly asked for a written report/letter for my insurance claim—both at the desk and over email—I received no response or assistance whatsoever. Very poor handling of a serious situation.
