Beautiful hotel with wonderful, helpful service

Superb hotel! The most friendliest welcome in India, from Kushan and his team. Lovely heritage hotel in amazing location in the heart of the city. Short walk to everywhere. The hotel staff were amazing, the food was incredible, the room was beautiful, the view was breathtaking and the hotel restaurant food was some of the best I’ve tried in India. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Scam fraud hotel

I had a long weekend plan from 15-18th aug 2025, the bookings were made 3 weeks prior and when we reached the hotel, the staff said that they have cancelled our bookings already on 10th of August (please be informed no prior message / email was made from their end to inform about it, when we called the owner or the staff had they had the audacity to hungup and speak very very arrogantly stating that they don't give a F about us and that we can do whatever and they don't care about it.. a pathetic room of theirs was charged 4X the standard amount and since it was a long weekend and there were a lot of tourists, people were actually paying good amt on hotels.. the pratap bhawan hotel actually cancelled our bookings just so that they can have another guests who are willing to pay more than us.. they are claiming that they have sent us sms but my question is whom they were even messaging on the website and how are we supposed to see it or receive?? I have shared the pdf with the confirmation message and everything with the agoda app and their hotel, and still the person is saying that they are not associated with the agoda app, but their name still appears on agoda, also When I have already booked through agoda they have my registered phone no and email id and I have not received any msg for my cancellation.. next never book hotels through agoda, pathetic pathetic customer service..
We were 2 girls who were roaming around the roads of udaipur for 2 hours straight (because there was no single hotel that were available since it was a long weekend) and no one from the agoda team and pratap bhawan hotel seemed to care.
I repeat the owner/ staff at the pratap bhawan hotel should actually be held responsible and we are legally taking the matter in hands shortly.

Beautiful stay

Beautiful hotel rooms, best view in whole town from rooftop, great location and staff were super helpful (arranged driver for us for good price). Would love to come back!

Amazing hotel to stay for your Udaipur trip

amazing hotel, great service, Owner is very friendly and co-operative, recomend all to visit the hotel and there rooftop cafe as well. Its very close to city palace and its in the heart of the city. I loved the place and lal ghat. Every thing is very close to the hotel

A beautiful experience in a beautiful town

This motel is very big on hospitality and visitor assistance. Their service is wonderful.
The rooftop restaurant is an ideal place to reflect on the day’s easily accessible adventures while contemplating the reflections on the lake. A beautiful spot in a beautiful town.
My daughter was especially enchanted by the comfy sun window lounge!
