cute place in the historical center

This was a very nice B&B in the historical center of Bari. It was easy to find and located right where we wanted to be for exploring this city. The owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with and he took great pride in his B&B. The roof terrace was a big plus. The room is small, although it is very well done and the bathroom is modern and clean. Be advised that the spiral staircase to reach the room is quite narrow and steep.

Simply perfect!

This is the best b +b I have ever been. So lovely in every detail,in the middle of the old town,near harbour and bastion. The interior is gorgeous. Only two rooms. The roof top terrace is a little cosy spot,feeling in the middle of Italy and seeing the starlight plus the roofs of bari. Certainly the old town means noise of yelling Italian mama's during the night time till half past 12, but the room has noise avoiding windows and everything keeps outside. Btw that is the real life of bari and it's the thing I came for as well. The manager are so nice and really good hosts. Friendly and open for every question. Great coffee machine and well equipped kitchen. The WiFi is fast and quite good. So I felt real safe,cosy and simply loved my stay in le nicche. So dear hosts,awesome! Keep it like that. Best stay in Italy

My unforgettable "home away from home" in Bari

The first time in Bari, combining with the "very first" B&B 3-night stay, Le Nicchie gave me truly the unforgettable memories.
Not only the location of this charming B&B but also the meticulous care Mr.Pierluigi himself had made this place a lovely "home away from home" to me.
Le Nicchie is in the "Old Town", it was nicely decorated, material carefully selected in details to keep up with the "real essence" of the "Old Town" buildings.
The most amazing thing is once I turned the key and opened the door, I feel the serenity among the "real lives" of the Old Town.
Bari is a beautiful city, my trip here would never have been so memorable had I not stayed at B&B Le Nicchie.

A little diamond!!

I found this place by accident. We were looking for food and some nice pizza. I walked past this doorway for a second before the aroma if fresh pizza base cooking got right under my nose.
In we lunged to a very decent menu. Some good pizza choices and a lot of daily specials. We stick to the pizza. Asked for bruschetta for a sharing starter - not on the menu - No Problem!!
Great service. Great food - I never had a pizza topped with cream before. Ivana the waitress is such a sweetheart. To all you Irish diners out there ... I recommend. Good reasonable wholesome food at a very good price. Eat here!!! The pizza is fabulous and you are a minute from the Port and all the action.

An incredible experience in every way

What an amazing place - right in the centre of Bari and in a very old and well inhabited area of the town. There are only two rooms, and to reach them one goes up a small spiral staircase, but if one continues to the roof, a periscope-type lid opens and a door swings round and we find ourselves on a terrace overlooking all the glories of Bari. The room is very well appointed and, though small has a roomy bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast could be on the terrace or in the tiny hall area - it is all ready and waiting for the guests in the fridge etc, and the welcome from the two owners is all that it should be.
