A fantastic location

Fantastic location with plenty of restaurants around. The interiors were beautifully decorated and the bedrooms were spacious.
The beds were a little hard and the great location meant there was some noise from the surrounding areas.
Nice atmosphere and good value for money.

Blind

Home: you need this to access and receive a code. Windowless room overlooking a noisy and hot interior courtyard containing an air conditioning unit. Well located in town but very difficult parking.
A little disappointing especially given the comments.

Not recommended

No reception. Room overlooking a courtyard or rather a building air vent. The air conditioners overlook this courtyard and return hot air. In short, an experience not to be repeated.
On the other hand, the location is ideal for visiting the city.

Disappointing !!

The only positive point is the position in the city center, near restaurants and a few minutes from the train station. Otherwise total fiasco!! We arrived around 5 p.m. and left early the next day to catch our train. Fortunately !! because I wouldn't have wanted to stay a moment longer. We never saw anyone, check in was just done by communicating the access code via WhatsApp. The dated decor may appeal to some, but it must at least be clean and renovated. Our white socks were black after a few minutes. Broken shower head. Our Margherita room overlooked a horrible and gloomy interior courtyard, there was no question of opening the shutters, so only artificial light. Tired bedding. Very noisy, we heard noises from neighbors until midnight on a Thursday. It's on the 2nd floor with a very small old elevator. In the huge common room there is a coffee machine but no capsules or powder, nothing, total emptiness!! and not even a fridge!! And the worst: just a little leftover toilet paper, just for a little pee!! Luckily I always have some in reserve with me! In short, all these negative points are certainly not worth the old-fashioned classic decor which might please some.

Nice big house with suites

This is a set of rooms, where one enters the premises using a code on a combination lock. Most of the time there is no staff on the premises. When we came in at about 11 pm. at night from half way across the world, it was a bit daunting to enter because of the darness and motion sensitive lights coming on and off. A cleaner comes in in the morning for a couple of hours and the owner (Francesco- a very friendly and helpful person who can speak basic English). There is no breakfast included. There is a pantry space which has a kettle and some crockery and cutlery. The rooms are fine. The room Maria is a bit small. The room Hortensia is probably the best room and for 3 people with a balcony overlooking a main avenue.
