Great spot to stay at, easy walking to Duomo or the Accademia. Loved sitting out on the balcony, watching people go by, while we rested after walking around.

Only good thing about this place is the location, otherwise everything else is terrible. Place is old and stinks like hell, AC not working so we could barely sleep during the 3 nights we stayed there in the horrible heat. Tried contacting the host Gonzalo on WhatsApp but he NEVER replied, we were completely ignored! Shower drain blocked, mold in the bathroom, one shower door was missing so there would be water everywhere each time we would shower, no window or fan in the bathroom. There was a coffee machine in the room but not a single coffee capsule. The “breakfast” which consists of a dry croissant, a coffee and a glass of orange juice is offered at a bistrot near by, not a B&B at all. Would never recommend nor go back, don’t make the same mistake we did, I promise you will regret it.

My reservations was for nine days. The first two days were fine. Days 3 through 5 were awful. There was a power outage each day. The outage varied from 5 hours to over 12 hours per day. It was over 102°. I was forced to leave my room earlier than I wanted and walk around in the sweltering heat. Didn't have wifi or internet access. I was not able to charge my phone and my medication that needed to remain refrigerated went bad. Days 6 through nine was fine. Even with the power working, my my room still was uncomfortable do the air conditioner not cooling it down. There is no physical staff here, only communication is through WhatsApp. I was promised a 50% refund for each night I was without power. Today as im ready to check out, I'm told they will only refund for two days. The location is wonderful. As a 60 year old female traveling alone, I was forced to figure how to get my luggage down the stairs. Gonzalo was my point of contact and he met me at the property to check and to give me my keys. Each day the power was out, I did not receive housekeeping. My sheets were not changed. I did receive clean towels. I will never stay here again. Poor customer service. 😡

I wouldn't come back any way

It's not a hotel even though they publish it.
There is no one to welcome you, I had to wait at the door and ask the bar staff next door to phone the attendant to open me. There's a musty smell in the entrance hall. The TV has no control, I had to download an app to the cell phone to use it. It only works with the Internet, and is cut off every two minutes as the Internet service is very bad. The manager never answered messages or calls. The room very nice but somewhat dirty.
The bathroom is extremely small and drips the sink, therefore the.floor is continuously wet. Only some plugs work. Disconnect the refrigerator or candle to charge the phone. Breakfast is in an adjoining bar and quite sparse. The only good thing is the location well close to everything.

Amazing location. Easy to find. Room was clean. Host was very informative and helpful. Responded quickly. Breakfast was at a little cafe down the street. It was really good. Overall, would recommend staying here.
