Wonderful Stay - Great Owner
Sometimes you see a place with only 5-star reviews and you wonder if it is too good to be true. But in this case, every 5-star review is absolutely deserved. And here is yet another. And this is why?
We stayed as a family with a 6yo son for 7 days. It is clean, the rooms have aircon and are cleaned every day (some hotels don't even provide this service anymore). It's on a side street, so it was quiet at night. We had the Orange room, which was spacious, but also very cosy and comfortable. The showers were wonderful after long, hot days out exploring, and the dining area was a nice place to relax in during the evenings after the kid went to bed.
The cakes for breakfast were delicious! All of them were home-baked by the lovely Lena. Son LOVED the chocolate-orange cake; my favourite was the marble. There was also plenty of fruit, cereal, bread and spreads. And of course teas and coffee. Materdei Metro is less than 5 mins walk away, while Piazza Dante and the Archeological Museum are about 10 mins walk. Also within walking distance is Starita - one of the best pizzerias in Naples.
However the best part of the Colori e Note is Gianni. He was "Uncle Gianni" to my son by Day 3. We were in touch months before while I was still planning our trip, so by the time we met in person, it was like seeing a good friend. Gianni helped us So Much - from arranging airport transport, and a last-minute taxi so we would not be overcharged by another provider; to helping us find our way around (he knows better than Google Maps), and recommending interesting places to see if we had the time.
I also very much appreciated him taking the time to ensure we had got back safely at the end of each day, and he was always reachable on Whatsapp if we needed any help. We really enjoyed chatting with him at breakfast and sharing plans for the day, and our son loved telling him all about the previous day's adventures.
I cannot thank Gianni and Lena enough for looking after us on our first trip to Naples. We definitely want to come back cos there's still loads more we want to see, and Colori e Note is absolutely where we will be staying when we do.

Best host ever
Perfect place to stay, to see Naples. 2 minute Walk to the Metro station. Its quiet, relaxed and spotless. Rooms are spacious and air conditioned.
Gianni was so friendly and helpful, nothing was a bother for him. He gave advice on where to go and what to do around the city, even where the best food and coffee could be found. Gianni is now a friend rather than just a host. We definitely hope to go back.

Wonderful!
This place has received exemplary reviews for a good reason! The location is ideal as it’s a cheap and quick ride on the metro to the centre. It’s was just over €1 per journey or a day pass is about €5. The journey is about ten minutes and the metro is very reliable with AC.
The rooms were beautifully decorated and really given a personal touch by the owner Gianni. High ceilings and marble floors, spotlessly clean and reliable AC made it a real sanctuary to come back to after a hot day of sight seeing. The breakfast is good, and if you’re not a fan of a continental sweet breakfast, there is fruit, bread, yoghurt and cereal.
The best thing about the place is Gianni and Lena. They’re so friendly and welcoming. Gianni was incredibly helpful with advice on how to get around and what to do and see. He was also very obliging when my flight was delayed on arrival and my check in was later than planned. I really appreciated that. He’s the best!
Gianni and Lena work very hard and are clearly passionate about making your stay as special and smooth as possible.
I will definitely be returning and look forward to another warm welcome.

July stay with family
This B&B is great place to stay.
The rooms are clean, spacious and modern with good air conditioning, the breakfast is continental with a good range of pastries, fruit, yoghurt etc, the location is in a quiet neighbourhood just 100m from the nearest metro station and the host (Gianni) is very helpful and obliging. I would definitely recommend a visit

Amazing place to stay
Colorie note is absolutely beautiful, very bright and very clean. Fully equipped with air con, very good value and easy to get to the metro station which allows you to travel all over Naples. The room was lovely and it had a very nice atmosphere to the place. The host was absolutely lovely and so helpful, he made our stay so much better with all his support and suggestions of places to visit and eat.
