A Casa Di Amici ☺️
Reception staff: Emmanuela, Lucrecia and Roberta are super sociable, communicative, helpful and just ❤️❤️❤️They advise you some nice spots for eating/apperitivo where locals go.
Cordial welcome with litarally open arms of Lucrecia at a staircase... it was a good sign of spending there a very special one week in Palermo and having a pleasent time at evenings at the reception in company of Emmanuela chatting, laughing, having apperitivo .
Hostel has very well equipped kitchen if you want to cook and has also washing machine and laundry drier. If you are keen on music its a place for you. At the reception and in common space you will find a lot of instruments and even a piano. In bar at the reception you will buy a cheap spritz, Sicilin beer and a little bit more ☺️.
Vibes, truly Sicilian vibes, in hostel are amazing because some guests changed thier plans and chose extension of stay for a few days more.
In the neighbourhood A Casa Di Amici you will find many cafe bars, pasticcerias, pizza spots and places with excellent pasta for locals what means very good taste for reasonable price. Delicious pasta for 6 - 7,50€ ? Si, certo☺️.
Location is excellent. Close to the city centre and also close to Pallermo Lolli train station to Airport (about 5 minutes on foot) so you dont have to get up in the middle of the night to catch morning flight.
If you love Italy and Sicily and if you feel Italian vibes A casa Di Amici is an excellent choice. 100% recommend ❤️.

Great 3 weeks!

I stayed 3 wonderful weeks at "Casa di amici" while I was doing an Italian course. I had everything I needed (clean kitchen and fridge, space to study, cute terrasse, ...), met a lot of travellers with whom to connect and have fun, could chat (and practice my Italian ;) with the staff (they are all super friendly) and the location is good (close enough to the city, you reach most places by foot in <20min). I'll stay there again next time I come to Palermo!

Three weeks with us, time flies! We’re so glad you felt at home here and had everything you needed, from a clean kitchen and fridge to a nice space to study and our sunny little terrace. It’s awesome that you got to meet other travelers, have fun together, and even practice your Italian with us (we loved those chats too!). And yes, the location really does make it easy to get around Palermo on foot!

A true home with friends!

I am so happy I found this place for my stay in Sicily. It was my casa for 2 weeks. I felt reslly like at home. I had the opportunity to speak with the staff and many interesting travellers. At night, we would be having beers at the terrace talking. I want to highlight how friendly and helpful the team is. It was a pleasure talking to them. Also patient, they did not complain about my broke italian!
If you want a proper experience in Palermo, please book this place.
They have fantastic facilities and a few workshops!
Also their coffee is Amazing!!

What a nice place to be

At the house of friends is just the name he makes for this space. Colorful, bizarre in the most positive sense of the word, cozy. An experience that I would recommend for those who want a more animated atmosphere during their stay in Palermo. The girls who work there are very sweet people, super helpful and you can see that there is a relaxed atmosphere within the staff that is no mean feat.
Clean and well stocked kitchen.
Lots of instruments to play, draw and paint.
Final touch a spacious terrace furnished with all recycled materials, like a good part of the furnishings of the common areas (which I personally loved).

“Sembra di stare a casa di amici” è esattamente quello che sogniamo di trasmettere, quindi leggere questa recensione ci riempie davvero il cuore.
Siamo felicissime che tu abbia apprezzato l’atmosfera colorata e un po’ bizzarra, gli spazi creativi, la terrazza e l’attenzione per il riuso dei materiali: sono tutti dettagli in cui mettiamo tantissimo amore.
E grazie anche per le parole sullo staff, il clima sereno che si respira tra di noi è fondamentale e sapere che arriva anche a chi soggiorna qui è un regalo enorme.
