The room was clean and it was easy to enter the apt. The room had a good view to the port/sea. Only thing is that is a little bit far (10 blocks from the main tourist street and attractions.) Nevertheless , we ate close by in a good restaurant. Two blocks away a main train station to go to the airport.

An excellent stay

Even though it was for a short stay, I was able to appreciate the excellent service offered by Katia: perfect booking, check-in and check-out, good breakfast, slept well in a clean, comfortable, and well-furnished room.
Not least, the pleasure of a chat with her. What else?

Katia was a lovely host! This was my first solo trip, and she made the whole experience feel warm, comfortable, and welcoming from the very beginning. She was always available, kind, and helpful whenever I needed anything. The room was spotless, beautiful, and had everything needed (shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer, air conditioning). I truly felt at home during my stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended! ❤️❤️

It took a while to locate the hotel entrance(!), but once in the host was super friendly and helpful and explained where nearby parking options (there is covered 24hr garage opposite, or on street parking). Room was comfortable, better lighting would've helped for reading etc, effective zircon, and bathroom was compact but a great shower. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of items, and the host was very accommodating on my check out time, which was greatly appreciated. It's a c15 minute walk to central Palermo, but there are shops (including a supermarket and pharmacy near to the hotel). Parking challenges aside, I'd certainly stay here again when in the city.

Hidden gem in Palermo!

Katia, by far was one of the best host's we had ever encountered. Our arrival started off a bit rocky, since our host lives outside the city she was not aware when we would be arriving due to our travel company, as they had not given our host our number nor would they forward her number to to us! We rang the door bell at the apartment building, which thankfully was connected to her cell. After a bit of back and forth we were asked to wait about 20 minutes and she would be there to greet us. Katia showed up in the time she stated, and was very apologetic. Two days before our arrival she had contacted our travel company and made attempts to contact us through them but they did not respond!
The B&B was shown to us and we even got to pick our room out of the 3 available since our travel company had booked another one, but Katia thought we would be more comfortable in another one with a balcony. The rooms were clean and extremely well maintained. The kitchen area was clean and the best part was that every morning Katia would be in early to prepare our breakfast, There was a good choice of breakfast items to get you fueled up for a full day of site seeing. But best of all , the freshly squeezed orange juice!
Katia also went out of her way to help when I was having trouble with an e-sim and couldn't get maps on my cell, so she offered to drive us directly to our pre-booked gelato and pizza making class. Of course on the route there she gave us a tour of the main street giving us landmarks so that we could make our way home.
Katia also provided us with a certificate for 2 glasses of wine to a nearby restaurant.
One night after I contacted Katia about the location of a blow dryer for my wife, she indicated that if one could not be found in the locations she suggested simply go down to street level and there was an appliance store right beside the building, buy it and she would reimburse us. Katia always goes out of her way to ensure you enjoy your stay whatever the problem you may encounter.
The rooms were very quiet and even when we had other guests book the remaining rooms there was little noise.
The location of the B&B itself, is fairly central to attractions around the area. Because we were are walkers we were able to visit many of the tourist sites nearby. However there were days where we used the bus system. One night when we went out for gelato we had trouble finding our return bus, some locals came to our aid and got us on the right bus. Then before they got off, made sure that the bus driver dropped us off at the stop nearest to our B&B.
We think overall that the host, the location and the ambience of the Agramante B&B in Palermo should not be missed!
