Excellent location, wonderful service

The apartment we got through Hotel da Bruno is in an excellent location - within 10 minutes to the Ponte Rialto and to Piazza San Marco, with a grocery store, a bakery, a wine store, and a fruit and vegetable stand just steps away. The street is a bit busy and touristy, but we had no street noise in the apartment.
The living room was large and inviting, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms had toiletries, and there was a large drying rack for the clothes we washed there. The kitchen was equipped with a toaster, a moka pot, a brew coffee maker, and pots and pans. We only fixed breakfast there, but we found the table in the kitchen was a bit large and made the room crowded. We never used the terrace because we were in Venise during extremely hot weather.
We are grateful for the excellent service from the front desk in reserving an early water taxi to the airport when we left. They made the reservation and then called the taxi to confirm our time and pickup spot on the morning we left. That service made leaving Venise so much easier.

Stay in Venice

Spacious. Comfortable. Helpful staff. No complaints. The folks at the front desk were also bilingual.

Ideal for families

We stayed in one of their apartments, which was very spacious and comfortable for our family. Everything worked perfectly and was very clean.

Living the life of the Venetians

Excellent location: 15min from St. Mark's Square, 10min from the Ospedale stop to reach Murano for example, 10-15min to the Rialto Bridge... the apartment is central!
With a supermarket a 5min walk away, we felt like we were living like Venetians for almost a week!
The amenities are high quality and everything is there (AC, dishwasher and washing machine included!). Plus the people at Da Bruna are accommodating and adorable... superb experience!

Great location with Impressive Staff

Venice in July during a heatwave? We are thankful for Hotel Da Bruno's location for starters, which is situated within minutes from all the obligatory sites including the Rialto Bridge, San Marcos Plaza and the Grand Canal. It's also right next door to an artisan gelato shop! This hotel has a small, boutique vibe, and our room was filled with old world touches: an antique bed, satin spreads, an armoire and a crystal chandelier. But the best part of Hotel Da Bruno is the staff. They truly are extremely helpful and genuinely shine, willing to serve at every turn. Upon check-in, they provided a map of the city with detailed explanations of how to reach important landmarks. They quickly got to know us and knew our room number without us even having to ask for our room key. The breakfast buffet here is quite abundant, as well. We appreciated the close proximity to shopping, restaurants, and even the water taxi stop, a little over a block away. Great stay!
