Beautiful experience at Dar Aurora
Beautiful riad inside the medina and minutes from Jemma el Fna square.
The room was large and comfortable and smelt heavenly.
All the staff were wonderful but particular praise must go to Jamal who went above and beyond to help me with medical appointments, information and was keen to take care of me when I unfortunately fell ill.
The public spaces were calm and inviting.
I have no hesitation in recommending Dar Aurora and would love to return.

Unique experience! Alvaro top of the range!
We stayed for a group trip to this beautiful gem in the heart of the Medina. When we arrived they welcomed us in the riad with typical sweets and mint tea. We stayed in the outside part and the terraces on both sides were peaceful and visibly pleasant. The rooms were a bit narrow but new and very characteristic. The staff was really friendly but I would like to thank Alvaro who is the host and I have to say a really friendly and kind person. It was pleasant both to give us practical details and curiosity about the place (always with the jumping Lilly in adoration:) explained something about the riad, the city, took us to a typical cafe and around the Medina in Tok tok, the first day took us to a local for lunch on a terrace and ordered typical space food! Equally it was in the evening where we had a candlelit dinner in the riad always with delicious typical food!!!!
Typical breakfasts where everything is worth trying! I loved all these goodnesses that I had never experienced before. Thanks Alvaro for accompanying us in your way in this new world for us!!! The proof that the place is also made by people and sharing is pure magic! The best part of the riad for me was the silence once I escaped the chaos of the souks and traffic. Experience that I will carry in my heart, contrasts and beauties so different that you will not forget! Thanks Alvaro!!!

FEEL AT HOME
I share our beautiful experience at Dar Aurora with great pleasure, we decided to book for our team building (we are a travel agency) by Alvaro (the owner) a few months before... what about?! What made our stay unique was the welcome of Alvaro, really exquisite person.
Lovely person, ready to help you always and through the love he has for Morocco transmits you in a bewitching way all their customs and traditions.
The Riad is a real gem, attention to detail and located in the center.
We really recommend it to everyone!

Great Welcoming
Great Welcoming. Family atmosphere, but sophisticated.

Convenient and central
A small and cozy riad, hidden in the alleys of the Medina. the owner, Italian, is a very kind person and very helpful. They pick you up at the airport and escort you to the riad, then better take a guide to get the best of Marrakesh explained. Our guides, for example, were welcoming and prepared. The riad itself is not luxurious, but it is clean and picturesque. We had a small room that overlooked the garden-entrance, with a bed wedged between two walls, with the bathroom separated by a cloth curtain (well, this was embarrassing for me). Furniture few (a wardrobe, no shelves, no places to put things). In the bathroom there was a choreographic bathtub, impossible to fill it for lack of water. Breakfast is right, there is no great choice but it is enough. You sleep well and in silence. Acceptable, convenient to the central location and close to Jemaa El Fna Square.
