A haven of peace, kindness, and good food!

A small Dar very well located (close to the Saadian tombs and the El Badi Palace as well as the Jamaa El Fna square). We do everything on foot! And we can schedule a great Hammam and massage right next door after the day's visits! I spent 4 days there with my daughter. Superb welcome from Najat and her colleague who always brought us breakfast with a smile. On the first evening, we were a bit late compared to the scheduled time and tired. We asked Najaat to prepare dinner for us. The Moroccan salads and the chicken tajine were delicious, and we were able to enjoy the "home" that was just for us! It was so pleasant and delicious that we dined there 3 nights out of 4, and Najaat prepared a couscous and the chicken pastilla that we wanted to taste. What more can I say... Everything was great, not to mention the good advice for shopping or other things. Thank you to Najaat and Mohamed

Warm Hospitality and Perfect Location

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay at Dar Fangui for three nights while celebrating my birthday, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way.
A very special thank you to our lovely hostess Najat, who welcomed us so warmly with traditional Moroccan tea from the moment we arrived and continued to check in on us throughout our stay. She was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, offering great tips on navigating the Medina and guiding us to the traditional foods and spots we were eager to experience. On mornings when we had early activities planned, she even prepared breakfast for us to take with us — a kind and much-appreciated gesture.
We also want to mention our driver, Zachariah, who was consistently friendly, punctual, and reliable. It gave us great peace of mind to have one trusted driver we could schedule in advance for all our trips and excursions.
The riad itself is beautiful, with a serene and charming courtyard that feels like a peaceful oasis after a day exploring Marrakech. The interior is wonderfully quiet — you can’t even hear all the bustle from outside, which made it an incredibly relaxing retreat. Its location is extremely practical — just off a main driving road, which meant our driver could drop us off and pick us up very close to the riad (a rare convenience in the Medina). The usual tour meeting point at Bab Agnaou is only about a 3-minute walk away, and the vibrant Jemaa el‑Fnaa is roughly a 9-minute stroll.
We would absolutely recommend Dar Fangui to anyone visiting Marrakech and are already thinking about returning ourselves for a longer stay. It was a truly special and memorable experience.

Most amazing terrace, all clean and stylish, would have loved to stay longer!

Absolutely outstanding roof terrace to spent all day, super clean and stylish, comfortable bed and sheets, all very carefully chosen and taken care of, very friendly owner and staff, great location to walk around the Medina. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Would have loved to stay longer!

Excellent Riad, Breakfast by the Pool and Hospitality

It's outside the Medina, but the 10 min. walk to the center isn't a problem.
The sweet lady took good care of us.
The Breakfast changed everyday and was delicious everytime.
Be aware that you need to print out the booking documents to leave Marocco. Ir costs 10 MAD (1€) per person at this Riad.

Comfortable stay in January

Nice acommodation just 15 min walking distance to the Jamma El Fna square and 3 min to Saadien Tombs. Tricky to find (after Kasbah Cafe take the first small street right and then turn right again). Small clean room with a private bathroom. A/C was working well and quietly during the night in January. Rooftop terrace with a view towards the city centre. Wifi working just in the ground level around the pool. Owner speaks just French but staff they speak English. Simple but tasty breakfast served. Would come to stay again.
