The AC was broken out first night. The mirror broke in the restroom. We had to move to another suite and it got better. We had rowdy neighbors so I had to pound on their door to shut them up. The staff is super accommodating. The restaurant in sight is amazing. We ate 3 meals and never had to leave.

Spent Christmas eve in nature
Its true someone wrote they take a long long time to serve food don't know why . these are simple food , that's one of the Con l saw . writing here what l noticed although not exactly a con but to keep in mind so as to order well ahead of time.
In the swimming pool side bar there was no cocktails only beer and wine .
They gave us a call to remind to book a shuttle for airport if need be at 4:45 am when we were fast asleep . l am an insomniac so yeah , maybe night b4 the checkout, tell in the reception whatever your requirements are and mention not to call b4 a certain time if your checkout will be late and not early morning . we didn't have any morning flight and didn't need any shuttle service either for our way back. These are not the cons , just workarounds to have a good stay since nothing anywhere is perfect.
Now the good parts , the location is a bit away from the main hub so tranquil and serene . whenever we needed to go somewhere since we stayed 4 nights EJ helped us getting tricycle which is efficient and cheaper mode of transportation .
The room was clean and despite in a green area with a lagoon didn't get many bugs and insects in surprisingly . usually this is the norm and we were prepared to face this but thankfully we didn't see so many .
They have 2 simple water slides and swimming pool , we went there once . there is a laundromat and 7 eleven outside the property. .
Those who like to take pics , the place has good picture friendly places. The property is big . Food is tasty .However breakfast doesn't have much option and not always buffet , it depends on the day. The food reasonably priced . they gave Christmas hamper on Christmas eve .

Great Resort
Great resort! We had 2 rooms next to each other. One for my wife and I and another for my 3 teen/adult kids. I have arthritis and the beds were comfortable for me. I am an American and run hot and the AC was good at keeping me cool. The rooms were very clean. The outside had a beautiful ambience. The inside of the rooms were on the darker side but spacious. The outside looked better than the inside, but the inside was adequate. We had a nice patio. One of my kids did get bit by mosquitoes while walking around the property in the evening. I would recommend mosquito repellent if walking around much at night or early morning. I personally did not get bit though. The staff at the hotel were fantastic. We had great service again and again. We walked in on the cleaning staff one time, and they were literally scrubbing the bathroom clean as we walked in. The staff at the front desk and at the restaurant had great service, were very professional, and spoke pretty good English. Also, they contract with a massage place. I received much better massages there then I have in America. The massage therapists seemed better trained. I see a chiropractor every week and the massage therapists helped me with my pain in my back as an alternative for our timr in the Philippines. The pool was big and my kids liked the 2 water slides. Great experience, will plan to stay here again if we go back to Roxas City.

Stayed at Lagoon View Suite… very nice accommodation and staff are friendly… wish we could have stayed longer…
